Well I have great memories of my time in TEST and I hope everyone from there finds a new way to enjoy Eve.
Also it was a great call by the CFC - deploy to where TEST live hoping to destroy them and next day TEST gives up. Good shooting, Mittens.

I thankyou kind sir, I would of used " their " but was so pleased with what I thought up I was afraid googling which version of their/they're was correct would leave the door open for someone else to make a similar comment, lesson learned though, I now no/know which one to use :P |

I am still pretty new to TEST and all that happened before my time, but from what I understand this was indeed a crucial moment that changed the self-concept and attitude of the alliance forever.
Somewhere I read that every country has its founding legend (like king Arthur and Excalibur for England for example)- and this will most likely be the founding legend for the new TEST, should we survive.
And I think we will survive, simply because history has shown that it is very difficult to completely kill an alliance that recruits from an external community, and even if you manage to do it, they have the annoying tendency of coming back.

As I foretold, Callduron would one day soon leave TEST. He was certainly welcome in my corp, but that has been complicated by his new association with BoB.

Right now Test seems to be surviving by plexing FW sites in black rise using Ventures. Pathetic.

Resurrecting an old thread. If a coalition can't survive skirmishing in peacetime, they will never survive wartime when there is actual pressure. I realize a lot of the new test alliance members weren't around for the "Buddies with goons" days, but I was and the entire time this thing was going down I was talking to old friends in TEST that I used to go ratting with/ran incursions with and went to war on the same side as.
None of them were happy about what was going on, every one of them stated that there was a lot of rot at the core of the coalition (Not trusting/particularly liking allies, et al) and that's a major problem.
I mean I may be an idealistic ******, but I'd like to see TEST grow again, become buddies again, etc. But it isn't going to happen, because most of the people who would be interested in that kind of thing have long since ****** off to either a Goonswarm member corp or Pandemic Legion, and have no interest in going back to an alliance that calls them bitter because they make the suggestion that things "Not be ****** all the time." |
