Well i just got my punisher and i'm in the process of setting it up. What should i put on it? laser/crystals/med slot/low slot etc.

OK what is Ab and Web? Sorry been playing for 10 days now. Also when should i upgrade to a new ship and what should it be?

ab=afterburner, web=webifier. You will probably want to change to an amarr cruiser when you feel comfortable flying it, eg. having cruiser lvl 2-3 and skills for mediumsized guns and a decent armortank(active hardeners). The ship you are looking for next is the omen or the maller.

I've been flying a Punisher for about a month and i can say its a great ship. I haven't done any pvp with it yet, but i've managed to do all the lvl 2 missions solo. Here's my setup:
3x dual pulse with Multi
1 small nos
1mn AB
web
small armor rep (t2 preferablily, takes about 1 day to train the skills for it)
2x capacitor power relay
200mm tungsten plate
Works like a charm, and i've been using it since i started to play. I used only t1 items at first and then started to upgrade them one at a time. The really important thing is to train your engineering skills. Energy management and Energy systems operation are a must have. Get them to lvl 4 and you'll see a huge difference.
Oh, and btw don't hurry to get yourself into a cruiser. i just got a Maller today and its working pretty well, but don't upgrade until you don't get your engineering skills up. If you can't keep your tank running you're just a big pile of junk waiting to get pawned

I've won a few corp frig tournies with a plated punisher.
Also I use rails as even with punisher laser cap bonus, they use more than 125's. (also no damage bonus for lasers so it makes no difference, as well as suprising people with a burst of kinetic damage).
3 125's, 1 nos
ab, web
armour rep, plate, active hardeners or adaptives or damage mods.

I doubt a player, who just got a punisher, will be able to fit 3 mediums and a nos on a puny.
