I have brought alot of my older Tradewars/Galactic Warzone Buddies here and they are All Hooked. Just Curious if any of You out there ever played or remember playing these types of Games. As Buggy as EVE is We Have ALL Agreed that this is the Game We have been waiting for for the last 15-20 years

Garth Bigelow I know Your out there Lurking ... Care to Continue our EPIC Battles from Galactic Warzone here in EVE LOL

LOL I ran a BBS on first the Wildcat and then the RABBS and then the SuperBBS platforms.
I played (and ran) games for Trade Wars, Trade Wars 2002 and Yankee Trader.
Ahhhhh the good old days!

Edited by: Jojin on 26/08/2003 01:07:53 Ah, the days of Galactic Empire, Trade Wars and Anacreon.
Galatic Empire was the best. Had to load up missile and torpedoes with flux energy and shoot phasers at angles with spreads. Though a little more tasking, it was almost more exciting than this point and click stuff.
Hmm.. Now if I remeber right, missiles would even track someone into warp. Maybe there is something to be taken from these older games.

OMG!! Years upon years ago, I used to wake up early and dial into my favorite bbs to use up my turns in TW or TW2002 before anyone else.. That had to be one of the most highly addiciting bbs games I had played, with the exception of the PIT :)
I even remember upgrading from 1200 to 2400bps.. Man what a difference that made playing ONLINE Games back then! XARiUS CEO O.R.E. Syndicate

I remember being absolutely addicted to Baron Realms Elite (BRE). I was only allowed 10 turns per day though.
I would search for BBS's all over town that were running that game.
