I would gather a guess that 90% of all of Eve has bkmks for at least the area they stay in most. What CCP should do is remove all instas and just make every gate to gate an auto insta. That would only leave safespots and sniper spots left. This very well might clear up a good part of the lag. Since sooo many people have them but noobs the only way to catch people is warp bubbles, interdictors, covert ops, etc.
There is no need for instas if they would make every gate to gate warp an auto insta. And I'm sure if they do that and try to create a bullshiat skill to train up it would **** everyone off to high hell. Do it for the better of the game and not to punish them with more frivilous training.

THIS IDEA IS NOT NEW AND ITS A LOAD OF CRAP AS BOOKMARKS ARE PURLY DATABASE WHICH HAS BEEN STATED AS NOT THE SOURCE OF THE LAG.
ALSO POSTING IN CAPITALS LIKE YOU DID IS NOT A GOOD IDEA IF YOU WANT SERIOUS REPLIES

The thing with needing a skill or a set of skills is it stops people using fresh alts for scouting with the same feature.

Most ideas in the world are not new. I never said this was a new idea. I'm just trying to keep it in the forefront of people's minds so its that much closer to getting done.
Also, if you think it doesn't cause you to lag you are foolish. Simply try to make a copy of a region from your people/places and see the lag for yourself. It took me 8hrs to copy 3 regions for 2 characters. Thats ridiculous. It used to take no time at all to copy region after region so obviously something has changed. Either it is causing lag because of the huge amount of them in EVE or the servers have gotten worse. You decide.

Copying bookmarks is no way to judge lag. To do so is simply, to use your own word, foolish. The delay in copying is artifically created, to reduce load on the servers. We know already that the current TQ is overworked. Now sit back, relax and wait patiently for the new cluster to become active. Pointless discussing lag anymore really until the new server is up and running.
