I've been doing a ton of afk mining myself.
Is there a big war going on anywhere? Gate camping excluded. |

Lets look at the choices here.
1. Mine
2. Trade
3. Camp a gate or pirate
4. Kill npc pirates
Those are really the only things to do, they all blow. There are no role playing events, nothing exciting.... We need events and we wont be as bored.

Chasing down pirates in Syndicate. 99% warping around, 1% watching your target warp away and log before you can even target him. No wonder so many people turn to gate camping for pvp.

EVE concentrates more on Player Vs Player than Player Vs Environment so don't expect fun seasonal events, scripted storylines or exciting and wierd MOBS like you would in other MMORPGs.
EVE is what you make it because almost everything is controllable by the player.
People need to get into the role play spirit to better enjoy their experience of eve. Talk more, move about and explore.

I have no specific plan and I think thats why I'm enjoying Eve a lot right now.
I'm 51K kernite away from my ore requirements for a Scorpion which means I'll have a lot of fun figuring out what the hell to do with 8 med slots and getting good loadouts for NPC/PVP sorted.

Well, changed my plans slightly....having seen some of the obscene (Read: Low) prices of Cruisers, I'm going to go and earn another two-hundred thousand ISK, get the appropiate Cruiser skills then roam about in a bigger, tougher and meaner ship.
