So I stumbled onto this website and it got me thinking. I only know one drinking game, it involves the Bob Newhart Show and everyone takes a drink every time someone on the show says "Hi Bob." So does anyone know any good drinking games? |

You need a game to drink?
What happened to "sit together, talk and get drunk"? |

get a clean, fresh deck of cards. Take the jokers out of the deck. Put the shuffled deck of cards at the middle of the table. One at a time everyone gets to draw, around the table to the left in order of where they're sitting.
Game of Sociable's
From 2-10, Jack to Ace, assign each card:
ACE - Rule Card 2 - Suck and Blow 3 - Box hat 4 - Bathroom card 5 - Girls Drink 6 - Never have I ever..... (see rules below for this game) 7 - Sevens (see rules below for this game) 8 - Sociables (everyone drinks!) 9 - Guys Drink 10 - Water Fall J - Truth Q - Bitߦäh Card K - KING!!
You can write this list on paper and put it on the table so everyone knows what each card is for.
RULES: When you draw the card....
ACE - Make any rule you want, but you cannot re-rule any cards. Rules can be cancelled out by the King. The person that draws this card MUST KEEP THIS CARD in front of him as a firm reminder the rule is in place throughout the whole game, only the rule card can be removed by a King. If someone breaks the rule, they must drink!
2 - Suck up the back of the card with your lips, and pass it to the left or right of you. The receiver player has to try and suck up the otherside of the card from your lips, and pass it to the next person and so forth. You may want to sit boy/girl/boy/girl because you might kiss bare lips if you miss the pass or drop the card!
3 - Take an empty beer box and wear it on your head.
4 - You can save this card and excuse yourself later. If you fall to a bitߦäh card you have no choice to give it up if asked by your master.
5 - Girls all drink.
6 - "Never have I ever" Finish the sentence, and those who have never must drink! e.g. "Never have I ever... been asked out for a date!"
7 - SEVENS (rules for #7's)
- Drawer starts the count from number #1, all counting stops when someone has to drink.
- Next person sitting beside counter-clockwise says number #2, the next person after that says #3, then the next person says #4 and after that etc.
- Any multiple of #7, numbers with #7 or the number #7 itself cannot be said.
- If you come across a multiple of #7 skip it and say the next number after it. Then the table switches clockwise back to the person that called the number prior to you. Back and forth around the table upon each skip.
- If a multiple of #7 appears, switch direction again of the counting around the table.
- If someone doesn't take their turn, fails to count the next number under 4 seconds, or states the number #7 or multiple of #7 they drink!
8 - Everyone drinks. Even the King must.
9 - Guys all drink. cheers!
10 - Everyone drinks the rest of their drink, then refill for the next card draw.
J - Ask anyone for the truth about something. If they refuse to answer or tell truth, they must drink.
Q - This is a ticket to select one person from the game to be your bitߦäh. like refill a drink or take their bathroom card when they draw it for example. Good friendly Kings (see below) will free you from the bitߦäh card.
K - If you draw this, you must lick the back of the card and stick it on your forehead. If the card falls off your forehead you loose your kingship. As the king you overrule any Bitߦäh card, and you can ask people to do whatever at any point of time in the game. If someone draws a new King card, the current King is abolished in place of the new King, automatically. Kings loose their powers as soon as the card falls off their forehead, or knocked off.
Your goal is try NOT TO DRINK! You may definitely get hammered before the end of the whole deck!
This game is actually lots of fun and easy to explain, so anyone can jump in and play. |

Personally I'm a pretty big fan of Dodgebeer.
Two Teams of 2 One ping pong ball One can on each corner of a pong table. You throw the ball at one of the other team's cans of beer. If you hit it, you start to chug the beer in front of you. They have to go get the ball, hold it over the top of the can you hit, and shout STOP- then you stop drinking. Each team takes turns with the ball.
After you or your partner finishes their beer, the other starts. Game ends when one team has finished their beers.
I am undefeated so far this year.
Few other rules,
If you catch the ball, after they throw it, and it hits your can, YOU start drinking. They have to tag you to make you stop. You can run as far/fast as you want.
If you don't have enough space/too little space for Dodgebeer, Beer Pong is always a good choice too.

I usually dislike drinking games, since I dislike being very drunk, but a fun game is Centurion: 1 shot of beer, every minute, until one man is left. |

This actually sounds like a reasonable drinking game.
Every other drinking game I've heard of or participated in seems like it could be replaced by serving drinks and then doing something else that's more interesting. Want to watch a movie and drink? Pour drinks and push play. Want to play a game and drink? Pour some drinks and get out a deck of cards or a board game. |

Just heard of another drinking game.
Requires a shot glass with your choice of alcohol and a deck of cards. You place the deck of cards on the open part of the shot glass, with alcohol of course. Then everyone takes turns trying to blow cards off the deck. You have to blow at least one card off and the person to blow the last (or all) the cards off takes the shot. Its a little slow at first, but once you are drunk, it gets fun. Gets to the point the first person to blow on the cards blows them all off. |

What can I say, kids these days.....
Why, back in my day, we didn't have any drinking games, and we liked it.
It my case it was/is "sit together, talk ****, laugh our asses off, and get drunk". Same thing I guess Surrender is still your slightly less painful option. |

You need to sit and talk to drink?
Whatever happened to "standing alone, joylessly swilling neat ethanol until you fall over"?
PS. Box, if you like Bob Newhart, you might enjoy Larry Miller's 'Five Levels of Drinking'. |

I have noticed that late teens and early twenties tend to play drinking games, probably something to do with thinking it is "cool" to get smashed out of your tree. Adults tend to just have a few drinks to loosen up, not needing to be stupid about things. CSM do you think? No matter the changes, high sec people chose the safests. Lots of stick and they will leave. Half the problem is the players in null sec; we do not want to be there with you. |

FYI, drinking game does not equal getting "smashed out of your tree" (why the **** do they have to be in a tree...) |
