Translation: how dare an elected representative have an opinion different from mine!
Why don't you just vote for someone else next time? |

Money Makin Mitch wrote:wow. simply, wow. Malcanis, you were one of my favorite CSM dudes. I have given your posts a lot of likes. I never expected this kind of behavior from you
You Never expected rational behavior from an adult male who can keep a video game in it's proper context? |

I've agreed with you about a lot of things, Malcanis. But on the one thing that really matters, you inexplicably chose the wrong crowd to side with. But it doesn't matter. It is an awful ship which CCP hands out like candy. It only has a high ISK value because collectors are buying it overpriced . And you can't blame CCP for of the stupidity of their playerbase.
And i declare that Moira when the thread lol. Where is my 1000 likes button. |

You can't fight emotion and unreasonableness Mal, though you always give it a good try :) .
I'm still encouraging people to unsub if they don't like it, because it's pitiful to see all this rage from supposed adults who are at the exact same time still paying ccp for the product.
You still have my vote Mal (and really, thats all you need, you will always be my CSM!!!! where is the heart symbol on this keyboard? ), keep your chin up. |

To me this whole situation is a non-issue. It doesn't compare with the T2 Scandal or even the recent problem with the TOS. This is a waste of people's time to even be upset about. CCP rewarded Somer for their contributions to our community.. whether you LIKE them or NOT. CCP rewarded us recently with a whole bunch of new toys like the Gnosis and stuff, and didn't consider my feelings at all whether or not I liked you all getting one. And the Gnosis is actually useful, not a glorified white elephant of a prize like the Ishukone Watch Scorpion.
This is not an issue. This is not even bad.
Move along and get to some real problems and stop wasting rage or brain power on this. Confirming that when the local mafia hands out a bunch of turkeys at thanksgiving, it's good they are giving(back) to the community.
??? Yea, it is good. It's totally seperate from what they do that hurts people.
I've actually participated in such events (gangs or course, not mafia), it was usually the start of that group trying to go straight, sometimes it works. |

Drug proceeds. White washing. But on the flip side, at least you confirmed the criminality behind it all, that's something.
Not trying to derail, but groups like that usually spend money to do more of the bad things they were doing. Using that money for something good or in an attempt to go straight is a great thing. Some do it just for PR, which makes them just as evil as always. |

It's also a way to make people think they have a vote on the "matter" when actually they don't The CSM has never been represented as giving people "a vote" in CCP decisions. Where the hell did you get that ridiculous idea? The CSM is a sounding board for CCP decisions. The CSM is considered to give CCP a reasonably accurate idea of what the player base will think about certain things. The CSM is occasionally asked for idea's or advice. The CSM relays important information to the player base whenever possible. At no point in time are CCP decisions put of for a vote, nor should they be.
It doesn't matter how many times this has been said since before the 1st CSM (and uit's been said over and over and over), some people will always equate "vote" with "power to do stuff" even though anyone should be able to see without having to be told that the CSM is at best an advisory body.
