Hi guys!
I've heard several people with the same issue and noone seems to have a solution without restarting the comp.
After EVE has been played and the client has been closed - BF3 will lag horribly. A restart is needed to get the game working properly again. The lag occurs in both multiplayer and singleplayer.
So question is if there is a way to make BF3 run as it should without restarting the comp each and every time? Running a pretty good comp with lots of memory so I really wonder what the EVE client doesnt give back after it's been closed :)

Do you have sources? As this will be my primary setup... Eve and BF3 (need new comp for BF3 in all its glory).
What is your comp setup? |

Some nVidia cards have issues getting back to normal after running EVE. If you are using an nVidia card, make sure your drivers are up to date. |

I guess what I request really is to delete the cache of memory EVE makes when it closes.. Is that possible? |

I have a 6750, no problems with performance after leaving EVE and playing a new game, but I'm on XP. Have you tried opening the Catalyst Control Center after exiting EVE then closing it to see if that helps without a reboot?
I could see a problem arising though if the shader resources aren't getting freed properly when EVE exits though. |
