just a idea, it seems like it would fit into eves navigation skills.
What they would do; Increase AU/S in warp by reducing "warp drag" while in warp.
Sub warp already has variations of this idea, but i think warping should also be a place you could train in.
Let the flame/supports begin i suppose.

No. I'd hate to have to wait as an FC 10 or so extra seconds for the rest of my fleet to arrive if none of them are at L5. Jim, obviously you have no idea how fleet/wing/squad warps work, this proposal wouldn't affect that in the slightest. |

Quote:One other note, ships fleet warping together will continue to warp at the slowest speed of any ship that is involved in the fleet warp. This includes acceleration and deceleration so if you fleet warp you'll continue to land at the same time. So, the entire gang warps at the slowest speed.
Back to the OP, I'm in favor of some skill based modifier. The flip side to this is that since modifiers are % based, quick ships(frigs) will see less of a measurable benefit than slower ones (freighters). |

There isn't any "warp drag". Your speed in warp is limited by the power-to-mass ratio of your engines. |
