CCP since I doubt there is a petition for this matter in the game, I want to forward a petition from many gamers within YOUR game conserning this issue.
Why don't you (CCP) reply in the macromining thread, We do not request what you are doing, just that something is being done and that will be enough.
But we need to hear from you (CCP) about this, and please don't recycle the same old thread about the 80 accounts.
We understand that you (CCP) have been busy with the recent shard (China server) and ofcourse patch issues and the hacking.
But it is time for a official response from you guys, so far it looks like the thread was created to hide the facts.

YES... this issue is destroying 2 professions within the game, and CCP continues depsite several request to even comment it.
Let them ban me, not that I care.

The macroming thread is 21 pages long and still hasn't had a dev response. Hence people continue to make new threads on the problem in the hope someone will one day give us some answers.
That particular stickied macro-mining thread is the carpet under which CCP conviently sweep up everything they dont want to talk about. The iminent locking of this thread just reinforces that belief.
The silence on macroming is a disgrace tbh

You want CCP to take action against people who break the rules and ruin other people's experience ... and you think breaking the rules and ruining other people's experience is the way to make that happen?
CCP are taking action, but they probably didn't realise they had an obligation to MSN you every 5 minutes to let you know.

We do want a official comment on it, since they can take time to joke and answer so many other threads but since Wrangler did create a sticky and "forced" all threads to be under there.
There have been NO comments about this, last they coment about it was how bad it was that macrominers did not pay... now that they have fixed THAT .. it have been silent.
All we need to calm down is a small comment from CCP (official) that they are working on it, nothing more.

Maybe they'll make an official comment when they actually have something to say? I don't imagine for a second that this is something that can easily be fixed and it will probably take a great deal of time before CCP come up with what they think is a satisfactory solution.
In the interim, I fail to see how devs making posts on issues they can respond to with answers in any way compromises any work that is underway re: macro mining.
So hows about you take your childish "I want" posts elsewhere eh?

Who said they needed to answer me ?, all they have to do is to answer in the macrominer thread, saying they are working on it and that they have read the thread!!! that's all.. nothing more.

The problem seems to be that CCP is extremely busy with other stuff at this time.
With some serious leftover RmR patchtrouble and a new patch to be working on already PLUS a very complex hardware replacement op on the horizon, not to mention that they'll be busy sorting some security issues, and the fact that the fiscal year has just ended meaning a slightly busy period of work on real-life related matters for most companies, CCP have probably never been more busy then they are now.
At least, that is what I would expect.
But, like I said, they are working on something to deal with this issue. I guess it's just going to take time.
And yes, it would be nice if they told us so at least once in that sticky thread, just for our reference and so that you don't have to take my word for it.
