Pann,
Following on from the discussion on CSM questions (http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=28456&page=1) I'm just wondering if something more elegant could be developed ... e.g.
- Add an "Ask A Dev" section to the left hand navigation bar which links to an area where individuals can post CSM-like questions
- General community then votes on questions to determine relative importance (similar to the voting on screenshots, but with a link to show a ranking order of questions by current vote)
- Responses are then either picked up in the CSM meetings, or replied to online (for say the #1 question) by the devs
The above would clearly highlight the most important questions to the wider community, in a way that doesn't turn into a monster thread in which good questions get lost.
It would also help build on the communication from the devs (especially online responses) ... which everyone appreciates
Just an idea ... (which as such should probably belong in the "ideas" lab )

This wouldn't be hard to create a radio button poll or somesuch. Beyond mt my meagre Ken but lots of peeps here could rattle one off no problem.

Just use the MisterPoll website. It's free.

Yes this would be so much better then CSM meetings as only a select few out of thousands gets to ask questions. And the sessions are so short that only a few questions are asked barely scratching the surface of some of the serious matters. Hence still alot of angry customers.

I think this would be an excellent addition to CSM's. Not that we don't appreciate the questions of the players allowed to participate, but they don't represent the full spectrum of Eve, as I assume they were intended to. What better way to answer the questions everyone wants to hear than by getting everyone's opinion on what questions should be asked?

This is a great idea. I hope someone acts on it.
