Howdy, dunno if its already been suggested but i think it would good to make POS's transferable between corps/alliances
I think it would solve alot of problems with many things for example:
when people buy wormholes or anywhere instead the seller has to dismantle the whole thing, and then the buyer has to reassemble it again safely.
In high sec, to setup a POS requires standings which are quite steep, many established groups need to kick a load of members or hire some people with high standings to whichever empire you wish to setup a POS in.
Basically all it needs is to add a button. (like how they currently have a transfer button with POCOs) it would save alot of time, and effort. People would still be able to sell there 'POS building' services in high sec too it would just save them a week to wait for standings to kick in.

Maybe as part of the POS fixing/updates. As it stands right now, the POS code is an ugly mess of things ranging from the (old) rat AI to "here be dragons".

Unfortunately competent corps are somewhat of a minority. And they should do something about that, more people should be able to use POSes. |

If there was ever a reason to allow transferring POS's, this is it!
If you could transfer POS's, similar to how you transfer POCO's, this would be a wonderful change! Similar restrictions of course (no xfer while at war,etc).

yeah of course, it wouldn't be something everyone in the corp could do that would just be stupid. i don't really see any cons in making POS's transferable.
it would just make the method of getting one in high sec in particular alot simpler. People could ransom them rather than just having to blow them up aswell .
Obviously you wouldn't make them transferable during in war, or if they have a certain amount of damage, because then i suppose in 0.0 or low sec or some crap where war wouldn't be necessary, people could just transfer them to an alt corp to avoid embarassing losses on their killboard. |

I don't think you said what you meant to say.
But I've seen more than a few moon holding incompetent corps with many a badly setup POS. Moon ownership is not a certificate of intelligence. Additionally, corps living in w-space have very little choice to let people 'near' the POS as there are no stations. Minimal roles (or titles) helps alleviate it somewhat but it's not perfect.
