I condemn Evolution and their recent actions. I'm making my argument on these forums since everybody else seems to have done so - a lot of people seem to live here now. There really is more PvP action in these threads than in the game.
I plan to apply to join TTi. Perhaps TTi would consider this to be my application essay to join them?
I condemn Evolution because I am horrified by the acts of aggression perpetrated by that corps against the institution that is TTi - an institution that in my mind embodies the best of Real Life human virtue and spirit by allowing for individuality and competition. Their worldview permeates their gameplay and is quite exciting to me. Evolution really have failed to live up to their name and I feel are still stuck in those murky depths of phylogeny where brute force and screaming were the currency of human interaction. Ugh! Left alone they will break everything in this game like bulls in a china shop. I am sure that in Real Life they resemble Neanderthals.
I want to extend my sympathy to TTi for the unconscionable acts of aggression perpetrated by Evolution and their cabal. Some people just want to spoil the fun for everybody else. I mean clearly this game is meant to be a hybrid economic/flight simulator. Just when you get the hang of flying an industrial ship some bully in a battleship comes along and blows it up. Some people have even lost their pods and you cant buy those on the market no matter how hard you look.
An additional reason I want to join TTi is because I'm tired of people disagreeing with each other on these boards. People that flame (or attack in-game) others and rejoice in their indignance are no better than predators poking at a wounded animal to see if its still alive and moving. I want to be a part of a corps that takes the higher road and can be the moral and intellectual compass for the eve community. I think TTi is still alive and moving?
Predators are at work in-game too. People post everyday complaining that they have been executed for no reason and all their hard-earned possessions stolen by some bunch of crooks hiding behind the pseudo-respectable label of pirates. Some insightful posts have made me realize that by resorting to the use of brute force against unsuspecting victims Evolution may in fact be a pirate corps, although the Cow faction probably think Evol haven't killed enough innocents.
Why can't we all come to some kind of understanding and share the space? This game represents the future of humanity, or one vision of it - are we to look forward to a future dominated by a pack of wolves feeding on each others' flesh and stealing each others' possessions? Where is your dignity people?
There are supposed to be 5,000 star systems in this game and thats about one per active player. I propose that when we log on we each find our own star and play in that space. Everybody could mine and loot their own system and sell the yield to the persons in neighboring systems. If we get enough people engaged in this kind of interstellar commerce it will simulate a "real" economy except we will have complete control over it and NOTHING UNPREDICTABLE CAN HAPPEN!
Actually I think that fundamentally the only solution for all the chaotic and nefarious behavior currently rife in eve is for everybody to join TTi. From what I have seen the leading lights in TTi have the intellect and strength of character to guide the rest of us through these turbulent times and to a place where we all have enough ISK to be happy.
This game, just like Real Life, is about bringing enough individuals together philosophically to have a harmonious existence. I think the biggest crime of Evolution and other predators is that they are disturbing the harmony that could exist between us all. To be happy in Real Life have everybody come around to your own way of thinking, or somebody's way of thinking if you dont think too much about these things for yourself. TTi have chosen Ayn Rand for their spiritual leader. By selecting such an insightful, stimulating and progressive thinker they have trumped everybody else. Get over it already. In that one act of genius the combat was resolved, TTi victorious, and anybody that wants to test their superiority is obviously droll. Now its all about building the new capitalism.
So don't spoil it for others by trying to drag this game back into those dark realms of human endeavor that involve war with its senseless slaughter and exploitation of the weak. If only Evolution and the rest of the corps' members could just evolve bigger brains and realize that they must be playing the game the wrong way?

FYI VA members have been incurring on FA space and firing on anyone and everyone.
Earlier today Qball attacked a member of CME, Qball (cyberdine) in a scorpion, CME pilot Shadow Walker in only a Blackbird. Assistance was requested and Qballs biomass now resides in CME's hangar.
Whatever bad blood TTI had with Evolution does not justify piratical behaviour by them or their allies in Fountain space. You had your war with Evolution but now you seem intent on dragging the whole of the FA in on your war.
So be it TTI, offical declaration from CME:
NAP with you is at an end. YOU broke it not us.
I hope Calladen doesent quit, i want the "mighty TTI navy" leaders biomass also.

I'm sorry but isn't Xanadu the "leader" of fountain ?
Well Xan and Evol is in Venal attacking so I hardly think that Fountain can claim to be nuetral. We are using some of the same tactics you use against us. If you want u sto stop please tell EVOL and XAN to Depart.

Obviously you forgot to go and read the FAQ section of this website, here is just a SMALL part of it.
7.3 Are wars possible between corporations?
Most definitely. One of the main purposes of corporations is to allow formal wars to be fought over resources, trade routes, strategic systems or simple pride. It will be possible to force one warring side to surrender to another, details of which will be released closer to the date of issue.
Call us predators, call us what you want but when TTI goes off and hires extremely well known pirates to go and kill Evolution ships and basically do thier dirty work for them and we get wind of it....
Well I think the corpses speak for themselves.
Keep in mind we NEVER went after the Venal Alliance in the first place, we kept our targets to TTI ships only. Now when they fired on us for doing that, that was thier own death warrant they decided to sign by thier own accord. If you dont like this, then perhaps you should go back to the simcity online game where no-one dies and everyone holds hands and gives big group hugs.

I think a good analogy is TTI = Microsoft. Sure they do some good things, BUT they are in no way godly, moral leaders, etc.etc. or are TTI innocents in the world of eve.
Ever been to Venal? You do know that TTI works with the pirates corp up there? (yes, yes, for defense, whatever) Could go on and on, but basically. I think you need to read a little more.

Ah but you are mistaken, Fountain Alliance is Evolution and Xanadu. It's sole existence is there due to Xanadu and Evolution. The other corps, yours included are there for numbers, cannon fodder so to speak. Do you seriously think Xanadu/Evolution would want a number of minor corps in the region they are controlling on a long term basis? Divide and Conquer my friend, divide and conquer. Quote:

Ah but your allies are intruding on space habited by TTI, killing off miners and solo NPC hunters, they are the ones who started this war. Do you seriously think they did not assume that Venal would give the old saying "an eye for an eye" it's due respect? Incase you don't like it you can either bring it up with Xanadu/Evolution who aparently can't even keep Venal closed from the outside world, or leave Fountain, it's clearly not there for your protection of Fountain as a whole, that Xanadu and Evolution could accomplish alone afterall, but as a buffer to get free protection for Xanadu and Evolution miners from your corp aswell as the other insignificant small groups they haven't gotten rid of yet.

I totally agree with the original poster. I have been saying the same thing on many different threads. It is about time the anti-TTI threads got countered.
I actually got rejected by TTI! But I think I wrote a lousy application. Anyway I was all bummed but that does not mean I don't still respect them.
They clearly have a very strong leadership and happy members. Sure, they may be a little more into making money than corps that just PvP all day, but does that make them "carebears"? It looks to me like they are out there fighting too!
And these Evolution fellas are real pieces of work. On one hand they say how weak TTI is and that they only use battleships to mine then on the other hand they say how great they are for blowing up TTI! The nerve!
Anyway boys will be boys I guess.

TTI ships have been in fountain, attacking our allies, attacking anyone. sure .. so far they all get blown up ... fact is they shouldnt be there or doing it in the first place.
As for CME minor corp? pull your head out of Ragnars bottom please. And cannon fodder? - what about TTI?
As for EVO starting the war with TTI.. i couldnt give a jovian monkey. It was something going on before the FA or VA existed. Infact TTI are only in the VA in the first place because their navy isnt able to fend off Evo, and needs to hide behind pirates (as usual)
TTI fund pirates, TTI live with pirates, TTI are allied with pirates, TTI have done this since very early retail... just now they are in the VA and theres no denying it (well they try but it doesent really wash does it)

Actually we're just conducting a little "Quid Pro Quo". I thought Evolutions war was with us yet they marched into Venal and started attacking all our allies in the process.
As far as I'm concerned (personally) we're simply "doing to the allies of Evolution what Evolution has done to our allies".
You posted (originally) that Qball had attacked (not in TTI) then posted we broke the NAP. How did this happen? Perhaps because an ally of ours attacked?
In that case you already broke it because YOUR ally attacked (that would be Evolution).
Since Evolution has decided to attempt to drive a wedge between us and our allies (ie: that "what it means to be an ally of TTI" thread) I think it's only fair to return the favor.
On a personal note, I'm a "carebear" at heart but I can guarantee you with five accounts and a desk full of computers I have "several" pure combat only characters with the best of everything in skills, weapons and ships. With my factory full of BP's I can easily replace what I lose. The supply is "Endless" you might say.
Two of your allies attacked us for no reason other then being "bored". Why don't you use YOUR influence to end your misery by having them stop. Until then I'll be joining them to kill every FA miner I can.
I've yet to hear you condemn Evolution or Xanadu for doing EXACTLY what your condeming us for? Or perhaps you have no influence and are merely a puppet of Evolution?

Primer, Yes we did. But like the "honorable" corp they are they broke it and attacked us without provocation because they we're "bored"???? We were allies through beta in fact.
Another fact. TTI had a BP partnership with Xanadu for a Scorpion BP. They still haven't delivered claiming its a lab bug. Yet according to my emails from the GM's they DIDNT FILE A PETITION in the first place. So as far as business transactions go they're not that trustworthy either.
I've been told by Punisher X of Xanadu that they are indeed getting the BP for us now. If he presents it to me as agreed I will come on here and publically apologize for accusing them of "ripping us off". But it HAS been over two months and we've yet to see the BP so I really have my doubts.
I hope I'm wrong about them.
