When you transfer a character to another account, do you get all the items and equipment that he has?

YES.
Everything that charecter has control of, cash, corporations, ships, etc is transfered over to the other account.
I take it you are trading the charecter for isk. If so make sure the isk you are trading for it isn't sent to this charecter, that would be a serious loss.

Funny but someone on the help channel just told me the opposite: he said your assets and money is NOT transferred. I guess he was wrong? It seems to me that if that was the case, CCP would have written some kind of a warnnig on the character transfer page, but I see none...

character tranfer, the purchase of another account, does indeed transfer any belongings etc.

You bid on the character only using the sell forums as this means the devs can get your isk back if the seller scams you. The seller pays the transfer fee and sorts out the transfer. You need to give the seller your Account Name (the one you use to log into eve, not a character name) and the character apears in an empty slot on this account.
You then need to wait until after the next DT to be able to use it.
You will own everything that is in the possion of that character when it was transferred.

As the other posters have explained it well I will just add that if you are 'purchasing' this character you may only do so for ISK
CCP do not look kindly on character scams so if you are scammed you should petition it with saved chat logs, forum posts etc as proof of the agreement.

The character I transferred was already in a noob corp so I don't know but I would assume the character also stays in a player corp when you transfer it too. So could be an idea to quit the corp before selling your character.

Thanks for all the answers. By the way, Valar, what happens if I try to transfer it and it's in a PC corp? Will the transfer fail and I won't be charged?
P.S. I'm the quality assurance manager at a mendium-sized (50 people) VoIP company in Europe. Got any open places there in Iceland?
