I've had a couple of agent missions (lvl 2) that required I intercept convoys, and on both these missions the convoys were carrying illegal drugs, which I collected along with all the other loot. Because these missions were in the same solar system the agent was in, I didn't have to go thru any stargates, hence no customs inspectors, so I have these drugs in my hangar. What is the best way to sell this stuff? No one is buying on the open market (obviously), so what are my (legal) options? The only other possibility I see is waiting for one of the agents to make me an offer for some of these drugs, but that could take forever, and the odds are I won't have enough of what they want to make the deal. Any assistance appreciated. Thanks.

if u use a frig with mwd you can travel with those goods anywhere... And go sell them in lowsec (0.0)...
otherwise you could try escrowing them.
The question actuall is do you have enough for the trip or the escrow to be worthwhile?

The Customs agents are in and of themselves, not indestructable (customs can be beaten, however concord is nearly invincible, so make sure you know the distinction). So it's really not hard for a player to get past them. As Eleonore said above me, a frig with a mwd can get past most of them, the only issue is trying to tank the damage they deal.

I was thinking...why don't you pop into the Narcotics chat channel, and see if there is a local "dealer" who wants to take these substances off your hands.
They have been pretty nice to me in the past, so why wouldn't they be nice to you?

I read somewhere of a Blackmarketing skill... Is this active? or In game? One guy told me its a starting skill but I can not find any more info on it.

Many tks for the replies all I don't think I'll try outrunning the customs guys, I'm only a few of mill short of buying a Scorpion, and I don't want to spend any more money than I have to, or risk losing my frigate and having to buy/outfit a new one. I would be interested in using this Narcotic chat channel, so could someone please advise me on how to find it? I've only been playing for 2 mths, and haven't used any chat channels at all yet, except for the local/corps that's always on screen. Thanks again.

Question: Do you lose faction standing and have to pay the fines just for being scanned with the illegal goods? Or do they have to catch you somehow before the penalties take effect?

Narcotics channel can be found by clicking "Channels and Mailing List" icon in game on the left icon panel. Then click the Create/Join buttom at the middle top. And then type "Narcotics"
