I need fit recommendations for my Enyo (ratting). Think T2.
Min Gear (as far as I'm concerned): 4x125 II 1xAB II
Fill in the rest for a 20m/sp carebear.
Thanks.

Edited by: KillmAll187 on 29/01/2006 14:38:24 Well it'll depend on what rats you're hunting. Your other mid will be a cap recharger or a webber. And your lows will be a magnetic field stabilizer II, probably put a passive explosive hardner if you are fighting angels, cap power relays.
Edit: I forgot to include a missile launcher in the last high. So put the best standard launcher you can afford and stick it in there.

I use the following solo ratting without any problems:
H: 4 x Light Neutron Blaster IIs, Small Diminishing NOS. M: 10mn AB2, X5 Web. L: Small Armor Rep II, MAPC, TS Energised Adaptive Nano, Shadow Serp Damage Mod.
The entire setup can run constantly without running out of cap, and it has a damage mod of about 9.4. The faction gear is a little expensive (but a 20mill sp industrial character shouldnt be too put off by that).
That setup fits with 0.84pg, and 0.23cpu free (if you have a -3% turret cpu usage implant).

Please excuse my ignorance.... You can fit a 10mn ABII in an AF?? If so, how much difference does it make in the speed approximately, compared to a 1mn ABII???

Meh, this is what us techies call a "dirty hack". It's a bad way to get additional speed similar to a MWD but without the capacitor amount penalty and the MWD penalty. The downside is that you eliminate a large amount of powergrid that could go into weaponry/tanking and that your turning ability is set to almost null. That's right, trying to turn a frigate with a 10mn afterburner is a pain, making transversal velocity impossible because of how slow it has to go to turn according to the tight orbital path.
I hope it was a typo. Quote: The faction gear is a little expensive
Faction gear that is worth up to 50 million isk on a 9 million isk frigate for the ******* lose. --------------

Yes it was a typo, I meant 1mn :)
As for the faction gear, as the op noted, he's a 20mill SP Industrialist. The isk should not be a problem. This setup does work very well, but its up to the individual on how much they're willing to risk when they undock.

Edited by: Malka Badi''a on 31/01/2006 00:29:44 My problem with blaster-class weapons on the enyo is their inability to eliminate webber/scrambler interceptor NPCs in 0.0 thus leaving you stranded to the BS fire. Otherwise if you are able to have coverfire while in low-sect to prevent the enyo from being webbed and held in one place, blasters do massive damage.
See my thoughts on this in the enyo thread on this same forum section.
Cheers on the typo Glad to see the hack isn't being used any further. --------------

Up until recently, Ive been a 125mm T2 / Launcher man myself.. For the exact same reasons as you mentioned. I have yet to have any problems killing webbing / scrambling frigs though since switching to blasters.

imo a webber with rails on an enyo is a waste of time.
Train up Assault Ships and you'll never miss. I'd go for a cap recharger to help the armor repper along... -- Drawing on my fine command of the English language, I said nothing. -- |

NPC Cruiser/BC/BS killer 4x T2 Ions 1 Named Nos 1 T2 AB, 1 Named/T2 Cap Charger
1 Armor Rep II, 2 Passive Nano's depending on dmg, 1 CPR or T2 Dmg Mod.
Train your passive armor skills up and the resists become insane.
Enyo Ceptor/Frig Killer 4x 125 Rails T2 1 x T2 Rocket or named
1 T2 AB, 1 named Web, Pref 15k Lows fit as above.
For PVP I swap out the webber for a 20k scram,. add one adaptive nano and 1 nano exp harderner.
Pure pwnage!

ok you want an enyo setup....cool....
this is mine and i struggle to find anything other than a hac and bs that can deal with it easly.
4x 125mm t2 rails, t2 standard launcher named 1mn ab, 20km scrambler t2 small armour rep, 400mm plates and 2 x aux.
2 k of armour and good firepower....also with spike ammo you can hit at 48km......and kill inties before they get within 20km.
i use this to snipe frigs, kill tanked cruisers and interceptors and any other af will die.
