Congratulations to FIX for defending their system as well as they have. It has been a long and bloody campaign on both sides of the fence with much debated and celebrated engagements. As a personal note, I wish thank the corporations of all alliances involved;
Firstly to Stain for arising to arms and engaging in what was thought to be a long war filled with many casualities. You have proven why the newly reformed Stain is stronger and considerably better than its previous incarnations.
To Huzzah for joining us on this campaign and becoming great allies in the process. You have increasingly provided pilots to aid in this war and there has not been one gang I've been in, without at least one representative of your alliance showing that you can mix it up with us all.
To KAOS for assisting us even though relations were strained between our two alliances. The past was temporarily put behind as we had a common goal in place. Much thanks for your support and assistance.
And lastly to FIX. You fought with great honour and emotion. The past 72 hours have been filled with countless large scale fleet engagements and the previous months were consumed with constant engagements with many wins and victories on both sides.
(Out of Character: Let's keep this thread smack free and reduce the flame bait - the war has been fought and won so let's keep everything clean, the same as we did on the battle field)

If they keep getting bailed out before a serious invasion they will never change how they do things.

I know already that I am going to get flamed for the comments im going to make, however, i feel as though they are things which need to be said.
I feel as though the comments and provocation from both sides in this thread are a disgrace, to those of you displaying respect to each other i have no quarrely, however, tot he rest of you even though you are enemies there is no harm in showing some form of decency.
My interpretation of this thread is to inform the community and to make it official of a cease fire, not for you to drag another conflict onto the forums. Conflicts are settled on the battlefield and through politics by leaders, not through people hurling abuse at each other in order to aggravate the situation.
To the politicians of the involved alliances, good luck and i hope you mange to come to arrangments, be it to continue the conflict or to share a drink.

I'm curious. Who is this 3rd party that brokered this ceasefire between SA and FIX? It has to be some alliance of significant power and influence to be able to come in and say the fighting should stop.
Is it BoB or is it ASCN or both? |

I'm sorry to ask this, but multiple times people have metioned that FIX has yet 'again' been pulled out of the fire by an other entity, now my memory is shotty, but I do wonder when that time was?
First time SE attacked FIX (along with incursions of m0o/BoB) FIX stood their ground and SE gave up, breaking up which formed -V- alliance and the coalition a group of corps living in Catch.
Second time, FIX attacked Coalitionm, this fight FIX had the upperhand until 3 weeks in when Coalition pushed back hard and FIX was just in the first week of defending on home terf Q before Species rejoined SE and making the whole fight over Catch a new ballgame.
Then game the unifaction of the south under BoB's design which after time *****ed with SE falling apart the hardest after SA coming back in existence. Then FIX set SA back to neutral.
Which brings us to this fight where in SA with some help from Huzzah and appearntly Koas managed to take over the stations in Catch from FIX. Now there seems to be a deal brokered with a 3rd party envovled, but WHEN before this time did FIX have another party intervean for their survival?
This is a serious question btw not a post to try and get angry reactions, I might have missed something in the history of FIX.

Edited by: Darpz on 30/01/2006 06:20:34 the coalition vs fix war ended because bob told Coaltion and SE (who was about to jump into the conflict ont he side of the coalition) that if we didn't get a ceasefire with fix they would jump in on the side of fix, the exact same thing that is happening this time around.
and KAOS has had nothing to do with the current war for several weeks. SA holds fat Huzzah holds the other two stations

I was there for the Coalition one... this is the exact same bull**** that happened the first time. FIX gets bailed out and their lazy alliance lives on. Fix needs a shakeup so it becomes something more productive than it currently is... if they keep getting bailed out before they have to re-evaluate their policies they will never change.

Ah now I see how I didn't see that one. See FIX had the same reply from BoB at that time, behave or die, off course why would you believe me, but there were some hefty debates in FIX at the time to just continue the war eventhough Coalition joined SE, but the thought of being the one to not be part of the unifaction of the south and therefor getting the wrath of all the other alliances to clear out the rebel part of the south made FIX cave and play nice.

Interesting turn of events.
Though, this thread really shows why there seems to aways be that "bad blood" between both entities; mutual respect needs to be shown and appreciated and accepted, until that day comes, I won't be surprised until the next FIX vs. SA begins, I just hope FIX will be ready this time.

well the problem is to many people arnt happy with the cease fire, this is fix vs stain (in what everformat) pt 3, all of us know its only a matter of time before fix start another war (they started the first one i was involved in by invading catch, and this one by setting us to KOS)..and we dont like having such unstable neighbours..but the ceasefire has been forced on us due to political preasure (been offered a no win situation by several entitys) so we will just have to sit back and wait for fix to start this again..what i fail to understand is why these entitys want to prop up such a weak and unreliable alliance? well my hopes is that some one lest..likeable to these entitys will attack fix and this interferance will bite them in the enther reagions.
well i guess pointles discusign it anymore as the war is well and truly over for now, so im off to clear the rat infestation at home and then rebuild _____

oh and to give you an idea of how bad fix is, our entire warplan started as a result of one drunken BS gang stumbling in upon an undefended system and just taking the station on a wim, from that point we just went with the flow and figured we conquerd one we mine as well keep going

Well the problem could possibly be that everyone perceives SA to be the unreliable party. This whole leave stain, come back and start a war thingy didn't really go very smooth if you want everyone to think you are reliable standup guys tbh...

that was over 6 months back, since then we have done everythihgn we can to help our neighbours, when the 5 had numerous war decs from the north..we declared those alliances up to the point g/iron/razor invaded our space, when those alliances then concentrated on ascn, we still moved to help them..even though sa had just had 50% of our corps leave and a few of us felt ACSCN were reaping what they sowed by napping G in the first place...and while we were helping ascn...FIX decided to set us to KOS, so once the northen forces moved to engage bob...we then went to engage fix...not particulary keen on been shot at in corridor by their numerous bubble camps. _____
