first i am new to eve, 2 days as of today, i am going mining as my main. the problem i am finding is i cant find info on the ship side of mining, just the skill side. right now i am minm/Sebi and have got the probe frigate. what i am tring to find out is the next ship i want to go after that one, then the next and so forth. any one willing to type something up for me?

hmm first off i think if ur still working on frigs it would be wise to go for the burst... gets better mining yield.
Then go for the scythe as for cruisers.
and if u wanna use alot of training go for the barges, and finally exhumers.

next ship then this one and after that u probably have it figured out...
Or u can skip and go directly to the second one.

cool thanks, ya i noticed that about the probe, saves me time in warping and takes for ever to fill up, but if you warp right onto of the station and right on top of the astroids its not a big deal

There aren't many absolutes in this game but if I were you I'd go with a Scythe next. It's the obvious choice for a minmatar mining cruiser. They have a bonus to mining laser yeild and a large cargo hold.
After that it becomes a little more complicated. You have to choose between a Battleship or a mining barge. The small mining barge will probably not be any different in mining production from a basic BS. The medium barge is very close to the absolute best battleship you can put together for mining. The large barge is far and away better than any BS. The downside is that training for barges is quite a lengthy process.

Actualy it's not...it takes one under a month (aprox 3 weeks) from creation of character to med barge (it is better and much cheaper then a bs)
