I am in sum station that is called "Lustervik VIII" wenn i lock in all i se is black but wenn i move my mouse around the screen I can see things like market and exit poping up in small black windows(like wenn you hold your mouse over sumthing). How can i fix this

you can try the station exit and hope that this fix your problem. or you can pettition the GM and ask them to move you. in anycase would try pettition. to do this hit esc key and the select that button. then follow prompts.

have the same in crielere
tried to hit exit ( ablack box pops up which says exit) but it doesnt seem to work
i petitioned with an alt
have to wat till the gods deign mylittle problem some attention WHich that guy who stole fire from the gods and gave to the peopl was here

In the past, deleteing you pref.ini and then going back in did it for me. You will have to setup your GUI colors again, and cancel outa the tutorial, set a few pop up "don't ask me again" boxs, but its better then waiting two days to be moved 1/2 across the galaxy..

Same thing happened to me. I petitioned for some help and got moved on.
It had nothing to do with the prefs.ini because I could still log into another character on the same account with no problems.
Hope you are fixed now.

one solve is..
- go to the settings
- define a shorcut for "leaving the station"
- log in
- in the black screen - press the defined shortcut
- dont dock again at the station
usualy, "they" need some day's to fix it
after the fix, all is 100% again

some times the problem is cache related , deleting the eve cache solves it . what u need
to do is goto the eve folder and into the cache
folder. delete everything in it exept
pref.ini and the browser dir (they dont change
anything) . then login to eve and see what
happens . if this doesnt work , file a
petition. personally , this unstuck me several
times.

I had this happen just after I deselected the 'merge items and ship windows with station menu' toggle in the setup menu. I tried restarting a few times etc. and it still left me with a black screen.
It only corrected itself when I reselected the toggle to merge the windows.
strange.

well,
i petitioned, the moved me 6 jumps to luminaire. Ther i was podded while mining afk ( icould really use that invulnerablity field)
moved again to crielere, where the same happened.
Removing pref.ini worked like a charm. Thanks for the tip

P.S. with the same i mean off corse a black screen with pop ups after docking
being podded twice in a day would really be bad luck
