A question: in this sort of transaction, how is security guaranteed? Does CCP back these purchases, or broker them? In short, would I simply be sending you money and trusting you to send back a working code, or is there a safety mechanic in play?

here's how it works:
you post here that you want one... you contact seller in game, usually a convo... you send isk and then seller sends the code... anything goes wrong, you have this thread and the wallet log to file a petition with.
with this many "the code worked" replies, you've really nothing to worry about.
