Is it me or is the new EVE voice horrid?
I want the old one back, maybe there is a way to edit the sound files for this.

She's fine. But I would like some of the old sound effects back. Maybe if someone has the .stuff files from pre-exodus?

Well since they have both voices on tape, I wouldnt mind being able to choose between the two.
Or better yet be able to pick which voice says what.
I like them both mind you, but the new voice saying "Warp drive active" I would like to change really really bad.

I heard a rumor that Eris is actually the eve chick's voice.

The new voice is terible, only listened to it for about 20mins before disabling it, and as said above I generaly have the sound off anyway, but it would be nice to get the old voice back, hate this one....

I would like to have the when-npc-targets-you sound back. Sounds a bit squeaky. Only peeps who play since 2003 would know that one :)

It's the old voice that was synthesized and then touched by CCP sound guy actually... it's made with Caltrox' _Speech Synthesizer_ i believe ^^
Current sounds are recording of real human voice.

It'd be neato if we could do it like the days of old where every sound file was a .wav file and of course you could replace anything you wanted to. Not that I have anything against the "new voice"...as I haven't heard the "old voice". :D

I like the voice because it fits with what I imagine a futuristic AI would sound like. Calm, clear, and ever so slightly arrogant :p

I like Aurora (never heard the old one) I love that accent....She makes me hot and bothered..
Yes it is reminscent of the old Mechwarrior 2 voice (I loved her too)

Yeah I'm not a hardcore fighter and personally enjoy all the sounds of EVE (or at least how they used to be).
I know we can extract the .res files but is there a way to recompile them?
