How do one aquire miniature electronics.. they are never on the market. I have checked 3 regions close to mine and not a single unit on the market.

Agreed that a lot of the requested items (i.e. silicon, depleted uranium) are not on the market in some places, pretty much making the mission fubar unless you feel like going to other regions to try to complete it. I usually just wait and do something else until a new mission is given.

This was in Everyshore region but I also checked Sing laison, Essence, Metropolis and Lonetrek (while delivering blueprints).
Did 17 missions for another agent while waiting for the 3 hours timer to end.

Finally found out what causes this. Or at least a bug that causes this symptom. The fix should arrive on Tranq soon.
If somebody places a sell order for an item within range of the criteria of the agent, but specifies a sell range that is smaller than the criteria, then that item type is pretty much an endangered species for the agent system.

Does this also happen if someone has a buy order for these rare items?
I got "An ally in need - v.2" requesting 11 long limb roes - there's some 99997 orders twice (for 1 ISK each!) in Stetille (Sinq Laison).
I've been around 5 regions - can't find any.
To summarise: if the agent requests goods that cannot be found in the same region, should we decline these missions on the presumption that it is a bug? |
