Edited by: Ruby StarFire on 31/01/2006 19:11:47 This is an attempted FAQ on how to use multiple jump clones which DOES NOT require you to have standings with NPC's.
The requirements to utilize this rests soley (more or less) on having access to a single station where you can install a jump clone. A player conquerable station or outpost would probably be the only available methods (unless your alliance owns a titan, or mothership).
Minimum Requirements:
- Informorph Psychology level 2 (upto level 5 depending upon how many you wish to install, upto a maximum of 5)
- Standings to install jump clones (from what I gather, your corp needs a 8+ standing with the holders of the station)
- 1 Day per clone installation (as you will only be able to create 1 jump clone in a new location once a day)
Note: You can still only jump once per day, so comlpeting this multiple times will take a number of days. It would also be worth noting, that if you have implants and you want them to be in a certain place, you need to plan ahead. It is possible to have your current body in location 1, but it requires a LOT of traveling.
STEP 1 : Firstly, install your primary jump clone at a station (where you have the required standings). This station will be refered to as location 1. This should really be one of the locations you will be wanting to visit on a regular basis.
Now move yourself to another system you wish to have a jump clone.
STEP 2 : Dock, and clone jump to Loaction 1. You now have 1 Jump clone in Location 2. As you currently hold the body that is located in location 1, you need to re-purchase the jump clone in that station.
Voila, you now have 2 locations you can jump to, and are able to move to another location.
You will be required to wait 1 day before continuing to step 3 because of the limitation on jumps per day.
STEP 3 : Move yourself to your third location of interest. repeat Step 2. Now you have 3 jump clones.
Repeat steps 3 then 2 as many times as your current skill level allows and you have created your own clone jump network.
This is a work in progress. Please feel free to add information, or ask for clarification on any points made.

Ah yea, I forgot to add this:
If you want to keep you jump clones at certain locations, you will be required to manually travel back to them before jumping to another.
If you just jump from a different station in a different system, you are effectively moving one of the locations you have already created.

The actual clone-jump is initiated from your character screen. There you can find a list of jumpclones and if you select one you can choose to jump to that clone.

Edited by: Aeon Yakati on 02/02/2006 23:12:54 Are implants on a jumpclone lost when jumping to another clone?
I mean, do you leave the jumpclone behind when you jump or are jumpclones always destroyed when jumping to the next?
[Edit] Just asked in chat and was confirmed that jumpclones are not a 1-use thing. You leave them behind at the station and can jump back to them.
