With the advent of dual (and soon triple) character training, alongside the release of the collector's edition, it would seem by the forum posts that your shameless profiteering hurried attempts to make a quick buck pre-microtransaction water-testing canny mercantilism has been a resounding success. Is the EVE community going to get any update as to just how popular these new schemes would be? It'd be interesting to see just how "collectable" the golden pod is, for example. Save the Domi model! Spacewhales should be preserved. |

Mechanicus Hex wrote: The liberal douchery is strong in this one. Ah, no, you see, even if I was going to turn this into a political discussion, you don't seem to understand what a "liberal" is.
"Liberal" does not mean socialist, nor does it necessarily suggest any form of left-wing economic leanings at all. In fact, a "liberal" in theory would be more likely to support profiteering and mercantilism, as libertarianism by definition basically goes "Hey man, do whatever you like, I don't care, I'm hitting a bong right now".
Ron Paul, for example, is a socioeconomic libertarian; he's very right-wing due to the fact that he supports a near or totally free market, but at the same time is a "liberal" because of his stance on personal and civil rights and liberties. By contrast, let's look at, say, Russia under Lenin's NEP. Whilst not Communist in any sense of true Marxist Communism, the Bolshevik government implemented strict controls on banks, industry and transport - state involvement being a left-wing policy, and thus if your usage of the term "liberal" was correct making this a "liberal" government. Nah. Communism man; it's reaaaaaaaally authoritarian. As is the US government, as a heads-up - it just happens to be on the flipside of the economic left/right divide.
I think what you meant to say was "The command system douchery is strong in this one." Even then you'd still be wrong about me, but hey.

You're going nowhere since you've got no divorce. And I took the liberty of welding the children to your face whilst you were sleeping. Save the Domi model! Spacewhales should be preserved. |
