I've just discovered medium standard containers.
A medium standard container has a capacity of 390m3. However, when assembled it has a volume of 325m3. I've just put 385m3 of stuff into one, and then put it in the cargo hold of my ship. It uses up 325m3 of space.
So... you could either use a cargo extender to get extra cargo space in your ship, giving yourself a speed penalty at the same time, or you could put your stuff in containers, and put the containers in your ship, and get a bonus for free. Obviously your can't put a battleship in a medium standard container, but for bulk items like ore etc this seems to be an easy way to get more space for nothing.
Is that really how it's supposed to work? Are containers really possessed of TARDIS technology, and if so, why do I need to go through all that tiresome messing about with stargates?

If that were an exploit, everyone in the game would be banned.

I think you're struggling with the realism of it. Think of it as items being stacked in a box can be kept more neatly and take up less space.

Planck Bubble Stab's, from what I've read, seem to create a bubble of subspace or something that compresses the stuff, or puts it into another dimension or something.
Probly. ---------------------------------

Check the Giant Secure Containers. 3900m3 cargo in 3000m3 of can :-) It's not an exploit. - ------------------------------------------- Helios enterprises is recruiting. 0% tax, 100% fun. |

Ah, I see. As a great man once said: "It's probably because of quantum."
