... the brilliant Eve-Online trailer 'Eve never fades' then I seriously recommend giving this a miss. But it is a show of how influtiential it is to the point of down right copying it. Unless this new Planetside trailer is made by the same chaps who made the EO one, then fine, but otherwise it's pure blasphemy.

As I mentioned in another thread on this topic...
This music, as mentioned by another player here, is JunkieXL. Not music from CCP.
This video was created by Radiant, a planetside player, not employed by SOE. Its the same as Seleene using Nightwish, or some other group's music in his videos.

SOE has never, and will never spend money on advertising Planetside, it was a test to them, nothing more. The advertising you will every, or at least mainly see about Planetside, will be from the player themselves.
They care about that game, SOE does not... Take a look at SWG for example.

I was inspired from yours
Though its actually a smaller version of the one I use on the ASCN forums to fit the EVE-O forums, and Limits. Larger Version
As for the vid. After watching it a few times. Its one of the best I've seen. There are a few other really good ones out there as well. Though there are a few shots in this one where it had poor fraps'ing so the images look really pixelated.
Free-Play Planetside, aka: Fodderside will be coming out soon. If anything, it could give players something to do during that hour of EVE downtime.

Jesus thats pretty much exactly the same as the eve never fades trailer. I know that theres no copyright breach her or anything but the guy could have at least had respect for whoever made the eve one.
Its not even as good as the eve vid. Every time i see the eve one it makes me want to play the game but i cant say that the planetside version had the same effect.

and the first true fps mmo was neocron, not the crappy planetside ...
