How can i use Services without Credit Card.... isk?

pppooo	Posted - 2006.02.01 16:05:00 - [1] you know i life in a Country where credit cards are not that populated like US and stuff, so how can i use CCP services like Char Transfer or Potrait Swap without a Credit Card? How is the idea to pay them with isk, this stuff frustrates me

Since yours doesn't have one, I would've thought that the site would accept the card number without entering a CVN, but maybe not. Have some rl buddys in my village playing eve tho, but nobody owns a Credit Crad

Khabok	Posted - 2006.02.01 16:52:00 - [16] The best solution for you, in my opinion, is to obtain a secured credit card. Contact your bank, or another local bank if yours doesn't offer one, and ask them if they offer secure credit cards. They're very safe, for both the bank, and for you, in that there's very little risk involved. You basically give the bank a certain amount of money as a deposit, and the card will have that much as it's limit. You won't be able to charge past that limit, however. So, worst case scenario: you max out your card and fail to pay, the bank just keeps your deposit. You don't owe them anything, and they don't owe you anything. Most banks offer secured credit cards with a deposit / credit limit as low as $100. Never hurts to call around and check with them, as a credit card is nearly impossible to live without when dealing with business online nowadays. I buy my MMO's timecards at the store. but if i'm reading this right, there are other services that CCP offers that require payment, and Credit cards are one of the few items that can be used online. Unlike the US, most banks world wide do not allow you to pay for things from your bankaccount. Unfortunately to the OP I think you'll have to look into getting a Credit card of some sort to be able to use these services. -------------------------------- -I hope that's an exhaust port and not a weapons port. -Uhm dude, I dont' think it'll make a difference either way.
Khajit Smitty	Posted - 2006.02.06 07:13:00 - [24] Well i have a Cheque Account with my bank, with this i was given a Cheque Card, its like a normal ATM debit card but it has the wonderful benefit of being a Mastercard too. This allows me to use it as if it was a credit card for purchasing stuff online etc, however its not a credit card as i cannot use it to purchase goods unless i have money in my account. Proudly South African and Recruiting !!
