Thanks, I may take you up on that.
I have to say that I'm finally getting into the spirt of the game, in this sense. I was all about advancing to lvl 2 missions ASAP, and generally "progressing" quickly. Now I'm goona take a more measured pace, try the Maller again with some different tactics, buy a frigate with drones to get the hang of them in lvl 1 missions, while training up drones and cap so that in a couple weeks or so I can try an Arb.

Just like to comment and confirm that the Arbitrator works well as a passive shield tank, at least for lvl 2.

Use 2 TD's and an afterburner and you will be invincible vs. bigger ships (at least the ones that use guns). It's awesome.

In that case, i'm trying to make the thing sing post nos nerf, and it's somewhat working. Need advice though:
Solo 2x 220mm Scout's, 1x Assault launcher 1x MWD, 1x Med Injector, 1x Tracking Disturptor, 1x 24km scram 1x MARII, 2x EANM's, 1x DCII
Lacks a web, the weapons are mostly for drones/tacklers.
Gang Highs: Same Meds: 1x ABII, 2x TD's, 1x web or scram Lows: same.
It's very hard to fit a tank, speed mod, injector, and neuts. And i'm not sure how good a neut dive bomber this ship would make, It's not a pilgrim...and the pilgrim isnt that great from what I hear.

Other than using hybrids on an amarr ship, that pretty much looks perfect to me. My personal preference would be to buy a few name mods and see if a Drone Link Augmentor could be fitted.
The curse and the pilgrim do well. There are setups for them that neut 140 cap/s. I would rather use a curse than a pilgrim because it has a range bonus and can more easily get away if things go bad.

post nerf, I go with.
2 x medium pulse II 1 x Rocket Launcher 1 x Small Neut
1 x MWD 1 x Web / TD 1 x Warp Disruptor II 1 x Medium Injector (400's)
1 x MAR II 1 x EANM II 1 x DCU II 1 x 800mm Tungsten
1 x Anti Exp Rig 1 x Anti Kin Rig
Overall its got speed, tackle. Can run all mods untill cap boosts run out. for roughly 5 or 6 minutes. Cycling through your cap boost 400's.
With close to 5k armor HP and all resists in the mid 70's it has a nice tank. All DPS from 5 light and 5 medium drones.
Works pretty well.
