Let me fly through stations you can shoot through them, warp through them even missiles can fly through them why can't my ship. I could go afk for like 20 minutes after setting auto-pilot on and come back to find my industrial is still endlessly bumping off a station that i undocked out of.
Travelling about is already dull and boring just makes you want to log off when you undock and find yourself boxed in by the station and half dozen or more ships that just seem to be floating there.
Please make them passive, you have no idea how helpful that would be pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!

that's silly, they should be increasing the realism, not decreasing it.
as far as warping goes it just means you're not in phase with the rest of the matter, so you pass through it, energy is a differenty story.
the missiles and guns is a problem, done for performance reasons mainly as far as I know, and I think it's really dumb, but CCP hasn't done anything about it, I hope they do.
As for flying through objects, I don't want to ever see us be able to fly through objects normally, that's just plain dumb.

I can see were your coming from gabby, it is annoying when you start to warp, hit the station and start to bounce around, but after a while you learn which stations this happens at and just fly out a bit more to give you room to maneuver. One thing that the devs could do is move the spawn point away from the station entrance were this problem occurs

But if you move the spawn point further out on lets say Caldari stations (which are actually the ones i get stuck in) it wont be as easy to make instas as you can make instas to caldari stations by bookmarking ass soon as you undock :)

oh no! no matter what happens lets NOT make it harder to make instas!!! I don't have any problem with moving the spawn point, although I don't think it's the best solution. I think It'd be better if CCP just added a bit of code to the autopilot to avoid the station. For example, lets say you hit the autopilot, your ship banks around, and then bounces of the station. Instead of continually flying straight back at the station over and over, why not, after the first bounce fly perpindicular from the desired trajectory for 5 or 10 seconds. That way your ship will bounce of the station, and turn up, or down and fly for a few seconds, and then try for the waypoint again.
just a thought.

Just make 'em noncollidable. Hell, you can take a nose-dive into a planet without ill effects. So there's no reason not to just let us do the same with stations. My Sunday Indy |

People would hide inside the station and if you clicked on them in space you would most likely start locking the station. Yes, lamers exploiting things like this is why most things people want aren't ingame.
I don't think you trust, in, my, self-righteous suicide. |

Alternatively, we could ask ourselves just how many people use in-space targeting, versus their overview, and ignore that comment as outdated and irrelevant. My Sunday Indy |
