I have noticed there are now 50 songs on the ingame jukebox, are they all available out of game somewhere? I only find some on the eve-online website. There used to be a tool floating around that you could extract the music from the stuff file, anyone still have it?

hmm never heard of one. However, on the topic of EVE music I can only say WTF?
They have gone through numerous updates with the game but the music is the same as it was in 2003. Time to put some new tunes in the repetoire. Hopefully something that won't keep putting me to sleep

If you want to download some/most of them look left... Its under EvE Download -> EvE Music. There have been posts that explain programs that extract the music files from the game files them selfs.

He already knows about those if you actually bother to read his question. It is not a complete collection. -------------------------------------------------------------------------

They are second only to UO's original music when it comes to nostalgia. And easily the best mmorpg music around (although AO's was good too) - DW plaguing MMORPGs since 1997 |

You need 'exstuffexplorer_install.exe' I got mine from Eve-I. It extracts all the individual muic tracks from the music stuff file. There are a total of 77 music tracks in .ogg format.

You didn't read his reply either, he mentioned there are many many other threads about using the Stuff Extractor to pull the in game music out.
A few seconds at Eve-Search turned up this thread which lists the URL to download the stuff extractor. Another search for "OGG", the file format the music is in, and you might have found this post where "someone" linked the codec you'd need to play OGG files in Windows Media Player. -- Lil Miner |
