hi was wondering if i should start the lvl 4 missions i started them b4 losing a couple apocs with 2 t2 reppers and correctly hardened put me off for a while, ill probaly decline alot of them but was wondering is it easier to complete lvl4s in a mega beam or maga pulse setup this is the setup for beam i was thinking of:
high:
6 mega beam
2 t2 med pulse (inties and scramblers)
med:
4 cap rechargers
low:
2 t2 reppers large
4 hardeners specific (e.g against sansha 1 em, 2 therm and a adaptive nano.)
heatsink
cap relay
wondering if ok or will i struggle on the big missions last time i died on infiltrated outpost.

I don't know your skill lvls so here are two setups:
High skill in gunnery, engineering, repairer sysetm
5 modulated tachyons
3 modulated heavy beams
1 ab
1 X5 webber
2 cap recharger 2
2 T2 large repairer
3 T2 hardeners
2 Cap replays
7 medium drones
Low skill setup:
6 modulated Dual heavy beams
2 modulated heavy beams
rest is the same as the high skill setup.
For easy lvl 4 missions, your setup will work but apoc only got 7 low slots so you have to drop that heatsink. However, for hard missions, the ones with 6+ ceptors and such, your setup simply wouldn't be able to kill quick enough. So, invest the money but some good weapons. If the modulated tachyon is too expensive, get the modulated dual heavy beams. They have very good tracking and good rate of fire. Webber is a must have for apoc. Don't bother with the small lasers. Ceptors are easy kills once webbed with heavy beams. When you get to sub 20km range, heavy beams also produce great damage against BS.

Drop the adaptive nano and put in another active EM Hardener. Use N-Types if you must, but the extra resists will be well worth it. N-Types are cheap, cheaper then T2 variants, and fitting friendly.

what about mega pulses on lvl4s or is it always beams i could put 2 cruise missiles instead of the little guns
