Guess it just proves that no matter how long it takes, we all come back to EVE 
I've been out of the game since September 2004 and I came back a couple days ago. I'm basically looking for a corp who's looking for an additional miner/hauler and has a laid-back atmosphere (obviously not one which is too laid back to work  but one where the whip isn't used constantly). What they get is a half-English half-Scottish guy who's eccentric to say the least.
If anyone's interested in me or wants to know more about me, feel free to drop me a line.
Background
An Intaki pilot with part old-British blood, Blue grew up in Gallente space before graduating from the Center of Advanced Studies. Initially starting as a runner for agents affilated with various agencies in Gallente government, he soon moved onto mining before being hired by the Dreamsmiths (DRM) as a miner & hauler.
After a while, various personal issues including the loss of several friends from the CAS meant that Blue could no longer bring himself to fly another ship again. He hung up his wings and retired, having enough to buy a bar in a station in Unel with a loan from Aliastra.
18 months pass and while Blue has a calmer successful life as a bar owner, he also starts to miss something he once felt - How it was once to fly through space. Taking the Cruiser he was once rarely seen without, he flies back into the air looking for new work.
Stats
- 895k skill points
- Used to mining & hauling work (prefer the latter)
- Ability to fly a Megathron (mining) & an Iteron Mk.III (hauling)
- Currently flying a Thorax (mining) & Iteron (hauling)
- A roleplayer at heart but often phase in & out of character with little difficulty
- Ability to debate with himself over whether pirates or ninjas are better.

Welcome back Blue*. My corp is recruiting people who swing towards the carebear side of eve. We're laid back, but still get things done. The official corp policy is that RL > any game. While we are looking for more people to help us mine and haul, we are not just filling the ranks with grunts. Being social is an important factor, since mining can be quite boring otherwise. If you have any interest in PvP, look us up when you hit 1m skillpoints. We are worth the wait. We aren't hardcore PvP'ers, but we do have plenty of targets lately.

Welcome back to the game Blue. You sound just like the kind of person we'd be looking for. We're not so much role players, but you could find the laid back management yet active corp sytle we employ just right for you. As for eccentricity, you won't find many more so! Just look at the corp name!

If you think you might want to fight against piracy in your roleplaying, check out Purify. We are based in Minmatar space and have active mining and hauling divisions to help fund corp activities. We have regular corp mining sessions so you won't be left to solo if you don't want to.
