Let's make this clear, we are looking for decent people, we don't care a spit about how many SP you have. We care about your attitude and your game play tactics.
REAL LIFE FIRST- EvE Online is a game, nothing more, nothing less, it is not a job, it is no a commitment, it is a game. A virtual MMO make believe game. End of story. No CEO or Officer has any rght to "berate" you for not being online, in a fleet or offline for a few days. Jobs, family, social commitments come first.
Before you carry on and read this post, we ask that you look in game and look up the corporation called Elite Monkey Asylum and read the description. If you understand that, if you truly understand how to separate your real life from a game. Then please, by all means. Read on.
No Skill Point Req / Age However, We Ask 16+
ELMAM existed 4 years ago. It was an Empire / Null security Space corporation, consisting of over 300+ players with a large capital wing. We were based in UVHO in Querious, as part of Atlas Alliance and then another alliance, which I cannot for the life of me remember the name of. The newest alliance we joined lost its space after a long struggle with Band Of Brothers and the corp simple dissolved after that, to many members lost assets after a flash attack on UVHO station. Including the corporation itself.
So, now we are back and we are going to rebuild. Below is a list of the types of players we are looking for, what we offer, exactly what we offer, if you cannot find it here, the chances are, we do not do it. Please feel free to keep reading.
Newbie Training Wing GÇô EvE is by far the most complicated MMO on the market, the vast choices of which career ingame you can take, be it PvP to PvE, the simple myth that you need millions of skill points to take part in PvP is absolute rubbish. We can give you a setup for a destroyer that is high DPS with tackle that will take you 24-48 hours to fly. We do not discriminate against new players, we welcome them. Any choice or career you choose in EvE Online, we will help you in every way we can, without fail. In the opinion of the corp leadership, it is the DUTY of older players to guide the new players.
Exploration GÇô Whilst the corporation has no aspirations to live or own a WH, we will not say that GÇ£it's a dead endGÇ¥ idea. We feel that all ideas must remain open to us until all options have been exhausted. Our exploration division is more high sec, scanning anomalies and also we teach players how to do this, for such a complicated looking skill, it is remarkably simple to teach. We have two exploration nights a week, the primary objective is to scan down a mining site for the miners and then find combat/wh locations to raid for the other pilots. Such is exploration within ELMAM. Be advised this division is not an official division within the corporation. It's more of a hobby.
PvP - PvP in ELMAM will consist of (Cruisers/Frigates/Destroyers and the T2 equivs of these ships) roaming into Null/Low Sec space in small gangs. PvP for us is "Fun", it's not serious, we don't care about the killboard, we do it for lols. Loose a 20 man gang of frigs? HA, oh well, was a bloody good fight. It's fun.
War Decs Against ELMAM GÇô In EvE Online, being war decced is not a GÇ£ifGÇ¥, it is a case of GÇ£whenGÇ¥. To this end, it is imperitive that you understand, in eve online, being under war declarations, is simply part of the game. It is also imperitive that Eve Online is not the only game you play. A lot of the war decs that are lvled against corporations are from griefer corps or corps that simply want to try to exort ISK from corporations. Make sure eve online is NOT the only MMO/Game you play.
ELMAM in PvP has a very laughable attitude towards PvP, we do it for fun, not to get stats.
We are looking for PvP pilots of ANY skill level.
Full API will be required.
