When I get in the game and select my character it goes to the "Activating (name)" then about 10 - 30 secs later it says "Done", screen goes blank and then just hangs. Nothing happens. Whats the deal here?

Sounds like you are stuck.
File a stuck petition and the GM's will fix it for you.
All the angels and the puny men of god looked away...

This has been happening to me as of late. If you hit the "Esc" button and load the options screen after maybe 30 seconds of blackness; sometimes it frees me up.

Thanks alot Cynn for the link and such, Just out of curiousity hun. Was it a constant effect? did you have to hit the Esc screen and WAIT 30 seconds each and everytime you got the rediculous black screen? Or was it a one timer only

Did you try the old "clear your cache" thing(including prefs.ini)?

Alright, I'll try it maybe. But what exactly should i do? And should i delete the ENTIRE Cache file? I mean i just reinstalled it before posting my original comment on the Topic and redownloaded the files. I've not deleted the Pref.Ini because i dont want to fudge up and delete something crital

I just delete the entire folder. I have to reset things like colors/widescreen/pictures. But it always seems to fix most problems...
On the "Esc" key, if my screen stays black for longer than 25-30 seconds I then hit the "Esc" button and it should be automatic once you close the screen. Sometimes it takes a lil spaming... But it works a good 65-70% of the time if it's going to work at all.
