Since when have real life pirates been seperate from murder, pillaging, destruction, and the overwhealming yar against other ships? It's a dirty job, and it the target seems to be too well equipped to properly ransom (Ie. dangerous if we don't work fast) then it needs to be destroyed versus ransomed for group saftey sake. --------------

I distinctly remember warping in on a Ferox that was ransoming a Brutix a while back, I scrambled them both, attempted ransom of the the Ferox, and he didn't pay, so I blew his ship up, I then sucessfully ransomed his pod for 25m and let him go, then I ransomed the Brutix, who I'd kept tackled the whole time for 15m.
