Just to ask around if there's any fans of the 1980's anime series called Robotech!
It spawned Anime in the West during its time and there are a few people I know that are wanting to start a Robotech themed corporation up, like the armies of the southern cross, Robotech Defence Force etc etc.
Would really like to hear from some fans who would want to join the corp eventually so it may branch out further into a coalition of corporations or an alliance of Earth Forces.
The possilities are endless!!

Robotech rules (Or at least Super Dimensional Fortress Macross does). But you are not allowed to post RP based on non-EVE fiction. Oh and us hardcore RPers would make you suffer.

One of my all time favs! But, I don't think it would fit in well here in Eve. Tristan kind of resembles Zentradi female armour though...but battlepods would get pwned by a pack of frigs easy! Of course, they could always brake out the reflex missles on a couple of VFS-1S's!

I'm a huge Robotech fan, have all the episodes on DVD...
It scares me that theRaptor is also a fan...

Don't get me started on Robotech, you might never shut me up.
VHS cassetes, DVD's, comics, novels, RPG rulebooks, games. You name it, it's probably sitting on my shelf. I even sprang for some of those overpriced masterpiece collection veritechs (valkyries).
But as much as I love that show (turned me on to anime in general), it really probably doesn't have a place in the EVE universe.

Battletech was the best. I loved the ripped off models from Robotech for the warhammer and marauder. They should have never messed with the original battletech by adding all the clan crap. Kinda like DAOC and TOA.

Although I dont think it works in eve. I was one of the biggest fans of that series. This was like 20 years ago though. I still have the first issue of the macross series comic book somewhere. I remember I was in love with the voice of Lisa. Great cartoon thought of getting my kid to watch it. lol

Indeed. Especially considering the initial iteneration of battletech stole nearly every single one of it's mech models from another source - Robotech/Macross chief among them... Nothing says "owning" like not being able to come up with your own designs... 
That being said, though, I thought Battletech had a great storyline (which actually was original), and the original mechs they added later on were quite cool.
