I'm new to eve and i noticed the in game jukebox only has tracks only for the game music. Is there any way to add your own music in there?
Also i seem to be having problems accessing sites using the browser, do i have to mess with any settings anywhere or is it very limited?
Thanks

First, no, you can't add your own music (which kind of sucks)
secondly, the brouser uses an old version of HTML, so only basic features are included. (and i mean VERY basic).

There is a tool for changing the tracks in the jukebox but I have forgotten what it is.. And in any case its best to just turn it off and listen to your own music using your prefered media player.
As for the ingame browser. It is very limited when it comes to actual websites. However it does have some additional features specific to EVE, that can be used for ingame websites, such as shops like www.nagamazon.com and calculators for various damage or ore based fun.
Browsing normal websites needs you to minimize EVE and use a normal browser I'm afraid.

its called the Eve Playlist Creator, i've loaded up about 70 tracks of my own music and it plays great..
you don't technically need it but it can make your life easier..
if you want to do it by hand here is how you do it.
Go into your Eve-online directory
there should bea res/ there
make a Sound/Music pathway so your path will look like this
Eve-online/res/Sound/Music
Now move your MP3s into this directory .. just do 1 or 2 until you get it working..
rename the MP3s to have an .ogg file extension, you don't have to convert the file just rename it.
eg.
MySong.mp3 to MySong.ogg
Now using notepad create a file called
inflight.m3u
its just a winamp playlist file but there are a few things in there you need.
inside this file you will put your MP3s, the track length and Titles
here is the file format for your m3u file
#EXTM3U #EXTINF:314,(GITS_Movie)Ghosthack EPCFileG00000.ogg #EXTINF:261,(GITS_Movie)Puppetmaster EPCFileG00001.ogg
Line By Line #EXTM3U is the first line, it signals that it is an M3U file
#EXTINF:314,(GITS_MOVIE)Ghosthack the 314 is the length in seconds of the MP3 and the text after the comman (,) is the mp3 title.. since the Jukebox doesn't read ID3 tags you have to put hte name here.
EPCFileG00001.ogg is the name of your mp3 file you renamed to ogg
so a generic one will look like this
#EXTM3U #EXTINFO:503,TheTitle MySong.ogg #EXTINFO:436,TheSecondTitle MyOtherSong.ogg
etc.. etc..
Just so you are aware, even with the EPC (Playlist creator) you will still have to do the mp3->ogg rename..
all the EPC does is read the ID3 tags and length and generate the inflight.m3u file while copying your MP3s to the directory.
some people have claimed having problems with id3 tags left in their MP3s but i haven't had an issue yet with the about 150 songs i've moved in and out..
I now have several jukebox selections i move in and out just by renaming the Music Directory.
eg i'll have a few juke box dirs
res/Sound/Music.OSTs res/Sound/Music.JohnnyCash
and when i want to put a new track before i load up eve i just rename the Music.name to Music
good luck
if you need help just drop me an eve-mail

Personally, I just run iTunes in the background and turn the in-game music off. Simple and effective.

Why wouldn't you be allowed to add your own music files?
