We are a small to medium sized Pirate corp with a great history. We have a laid back attitude and enjoy EVE without the politics and drama.
We are part of the Shadow Cartel alliance. We tend to make a mess out of most situations.
We're a relatively small group of closely knit individuals who enjoy the game from a laidback perspective; we've been playing the game for a long time, both as players and as a corp.
We like blowing up space pixels, whatever form they come in. We have a very low number of blues, so there isnGÇÖt a lot we don't shoot.
History for those who enjoy it
BYDI was formed in 2005 as a mercenary corp, but became pirates before the year ended. During 2006 BYDI was part of the Privateers alliance, which helped change EVE during their time. After leaving them, BYDI re-joined the dark side. To be honest, we haven't really left. BYDI was part of an unofficial Pirate alliance during 2007 and 2008 that terrorised Molden Heath low sec. This was the golden age of piracy, but it didn't last. Towards the end of 2008 we formed an official alliance to take part in the Alliance Tournament. We ended up taking 3rd place and the bronze medal. Since then we've committed various acts of depravity in all areas of space.
What we get up to
Primarily we are a small gang and solo corp. We enjoy a lot of small scale ship work, frigs, dessies and the odd cruiser. We are capable of fielding much heavier ships but typically these are within alliance fleets. As well as the small scale work, we often engage using nano fleets and we have a particular penchant for Black Ops.
We enjoy engaging against the odds because at the end of the day, ships are there to be blown up and if there is a chance for a great fight, we'll take it.
We have a vast amount of experience in all PvP related fields, and there is always someone willing to give you pointers, or to bounce new fits off.
Typically you'll find 3-10 guys online in corp chat, with 3 or 4x that in alliance. The area we live in always PvP available in one form or another, so whether you want to go out alone, or gather a small gang to head out, you can always find something to shoot.
What kind of pilots are we looking for?
-15m well distributed SP
-Self sufficient
-Good grounding in PvP and low sec mechanics or that you show youGÇÖre willing to learn
-Mature attitude and the ability to take a joke
-Working headset and microphone
EVE isn't a job, and as mature pilots we recognise that. RL always takes precedence. If you expect to be spoon fed kills and have everything organised for you, youGÇÖre looking in the wrong place. We play this game to enjoy our downtime, to escape reality for a short while and have fun with friends.
We know that people have other things to do than playing EVE all day and sometimes play other games as well so we donGÇÖt demand people to join every roam or be active every day. You wonGÇÖt be kicked here if you donGÇÖt log in for a week and if we know you will be inactive for a longer period we just post in our forum so everyone knows.
