T2 and beyond,CCP whats going on?

Are you guys you guys just now try deciding how the system is going to work?Or Have you finnaly narrowed it down to one or two systems? I'm personly really intersted in CCP's plans for RnD.Thiers been a lengthy topic in the ideas forum about it but its just the players.I wan't to know what's going so i can mabye start investing towards science related skills.Because as it stands investing all that time and SP for a lottery doesn't really interest me. ---------------------- O Snapz!

There is no real time investment as the research agents do it all for you. The SP are quite useful, as the required skills are all used for T2 production anyways. I fill 9 factory slots of production 24/7 with T2 BPCs that I use to make money. Qty x 5 Total 300 RPs used in "Blah Blah Physics" aquiring this bpc. 425mm Railgun II Bpc 1 run Cost 500 rps. Qty. x 7 Total 3500 rps used in "Blah Blah Physics" to aquire this bpc. Deimos bpc Cost 3500 rps. "" "" you see my idea, but how skills cross research, if u use a non main research skill to aquire a bpc. I.e. Rocket science to get a railgun bpc. The rps are penalized according to a relevance factor of research. Ranging between a %5-%150 penalty. So the original cost of 50 for a single copy might take up to 125 rps instead. I've always wanted to see a system in place like this. It would give a reason to do rp missions for more points. It would stop absolute monopolies on bps. And give a chance for everyone to produce and profit from Tech 2.

So anyone can buy a BPO, and spend a year researching it, to make it on par with a tech 2. More of a system where it's players work that is rewarded, not luck of the draw. Edit: Blood patch is the name given to the small update we are getting that will include the new bloodlines.
