Was wondering if anyone could let me know how my attributes fair - Im going to be training some trade skills first and then when in a position im happy with jumping into combat skills and training up for some PvE:

Will:7
Mem:7

imo, good, but lower charisma is always better.
(I myself started with 9 charisma, urk)

That looks fine. Charisma is useful in both trading and agent-running so lower than 6 is not recommended. Perc 10 might look overkill at first but it's very handy when learning to fly new ships, and seeing the rate at which new ships get introduced a high perception is never wrong.
I'd start by doing some learning skills before working on anything else.

Hi Bob,
I like those stats. Remember though that your attributes only effect how fast you learn a skill. Your attributes don't effect how fast you are, how accurate your shots are..etc etc. They ONLY deal with skill training times. Do train your learning skills to 4 at the minimum.
I did my stats similar to you so that I could engage in all forms of eve play. I think a nice distribution across the board is going to fit you well.

i've got 17 intelligence, 27 perception, 7 charisma, 26 willpower, 16 memory (+1), i have a full set of +3 implants, except charisma of course and i have all adv learnings trained at lvl4, except the mem ( current lvl3 advanced skill) and charisma one ( only empathy lvl1).
Cruiser lvl5 (rank 5) takes me 17 days 
Battleship lvl5 (tank 8) takes me less then 30 days 
i have some nice attributes for pvp...

the point of this thread is not to brag about your stats, but rather to give the OP feedback on their stats.
they are good, well rounded stats. Memory is the primary attribute for the learning skills, which will increase your stats faster if you start with high memory. Perc and Willpower are most important for piloting ships. Good luck!
I thought since this game is called Eve that I'd play a female character. Is that a good enough excuse for a guy? |

Yes, but you sucked it up when learing engineering 5, electronics 5, mechanic 5 etc... 
I could see that would be handy if you were playing the very long game, and wanted every races ships but for most people balanced is the way to go.

Great starting attributes, Bob. They'll serve you well. Be sure to take a little bit of time to train all of the learning skills to at least level 3 first. That takes very little time, and by doing so, your other skills will train 40% faster!
