Hi,
with a fresh install, eve crashes every 5 - 15 minutes and takes my entire pc with it; it completely hardlocks and I'm forced to reboot. Sound is off, using newest omega drivers on a 9700pro, amd 2800. System stability when doing anything else is perfectly fine, only happens during Eve.
Any ideas?

Having the same problem here, have tried everything I can think off but still the same. We are not alone lot's of prople are having this problem, closest thing we get is something maybe to do with ATI poxy drivers. It's real bad of CCP, how they don't seem to give a frig.

I have the same prob, i have two PC's at home and one at work and all three pc's are locking and dropping, its about time CCP started to help in getting this sorted clearly this is a prob with the last patch. Three PC's with the same prob mmmmmmmm i dont think so
With all the dropping and locking up of PC's going on from a "HIGH NUMBER" of players its about time we all started to get some type of answers from CCP or some type of sticky to help.
Regards

What's your sound card? Realtek AC97 Audio? I have a hunch...

Nope, not realtek. Clearing cash did nothing, and it seems to only happen when either jumping or doing anything in an asteroid belt. It's really annoying.

Okay , found out what was causing my hard-locks this morning. I had a move-around last week and my powered speaker was right underneath the modem-router. So I moved it well away this morning and not 1 lock-up all day, where before I was getting between 5/12 a dat.

For those having a problem this thread may help. The issue could be that we all use the ATI drivers which use micrsoft .NET. If you only have 1.1 installed that is where your memory leak might be coming from. I can't try it yet since i am at school but you can and let us know. You need to go to the microsoft update page and instal .NET framework 2.0 and that should help

Well I found out it apparently only happens to me when i'm in any asteroid belt, which is highly annoying.
