Edited by: Camar on 07/02/2006 01:21:27 She knocked on the door, shortly thereafter the com buzzed out: ôEnterö. Entering the office she quickly noticed it was very dark, only a pale light from distant stars managed to penetrate the window of her commanderÆs cabin. As so many times before she found him sitting in the dark, staring out into the cold space with his chair turned away from the door. - Sir, the lists are completeö she spoke out. - There is no need to be formal when we are alone Joyce, he answered. Please, come join me at the beautiful sight, the last remnants of a dead sun, he continued. Silently she walked up towards him, standing on his right side trying to visualize what it really was that managed to hypnotize her commander to this extreme degree. - Is this how our souls are Joyce? Torn, shattered and dead? - But Sir, how can you be so gloomy when we have managed to do such a great deed! - I bring you news that with the help of the republic we will be able to rehabilitate all of the slaves brought back from last night! She could feel frustration build up inside her, even the list she had brought with her held names of all 72000 slaves freed from the empire. Not a single slave had died during this whole operation, not a single marine from the tactical strikeforce had been lost either. She tried to find the words, but before she could speak again, Camar, hand swung around in his chair and stood up. - You are correct Joyce, as usual. I begin to suspect that you and Ghanimede in fact are relatives, you both have a habit ofàöcorrectingö me, he said and smiled. You bring great news indeed! There is no way SRS would be able to get this amount of slaves back into normal lives without the help of the republic. He walked back to his desk, took up a big lump of papers and held them out: - Here Joyce, this will be your next assignment. You are to travel to the locations described within these documents, find out if there are any more slaves there. If there are you should immediately contact the strikeforce and get them out. Your assignment also include setting up a hidden lab at a specific location. Joyce moved towards him and took the papers Camar held out for her. - Yes Sir! She walked out of the office and scanned through the papers while walking towards the nearest shuttle-bay. She recognized the name of the system she was suppose to head out to, it was the same system Camar had traveled from just 3 nights ago with a cargo-bay containing 72000 of slaves! A little surprised she also noticed she had been given full rights and 2 whole squads of marines would ensure her and the scientists safety while setting up the lab. As she read the last part of her orders she almost lost her grip on the papers, the lab was suppose to complete Viral Agents of different types. She could already hear the screams of terror, pain and agony inside her head and knew why her Commander had been so gloomy. She also got her explanation why he had been so obsessed with freeing all those slaves around this specific areaàRelease Release 2 Release 3

Congratulations Camar for serving the Empire Yes, not only have you released many Amarrian raised Matari who're no doubt devout believers in God into the Republic's ranks. Even their presence would cause tremendous memetic damage. You also release this consignment into the ranks of the Republic who's already overburdened economy will have to take the strain of more mouths to feed. That or these poor unfortunates who're perhaps torn from their families in Amarrian space will sit in the space docks looking for work, indulging in Gallente *****houses, or turning to petty theft to support their existence. Bravo.

Karn sat cross-legged on the cold hard steel floor, in the small, cramped quarters he'd recently been calling home. Space was tight at low sec stations and he'd been forced to find room among the crew of an EW battery that had just gone online. Still, in some ways, with FTL comms, here was as close to anywhere, and so he tapped away on a portable console, sending orders, receiving intel and reading reports. One item in particular caught his eye:Transmisson delta bravo 27-alpha-47 ** 72000 rescued and returned ** Suddenly the floor seemed less cold, the space less cramped, even the never ceasing sub-harmonic hum of the array seemed diminished. A grin creased his face and he returned to his work with renewed vigor. -----------------------------------------

Originally by: Kaeleron Shall Project New Life make room? Actually Kaeleron, around a total of 10k slaves was entrusted to New Life, since their medical condition would not allow to be released into the republic just yet. These specifik 72k is being worked at being released into minmatar republic with the help of the republic, finding them education and jobs. As for the amarrian in this thread *spits*, none of these slaves had any objection in returning to minmatar space. Of course a lot of them will be employed by SRS as marines, scientists or various other tasks. WHY do you think it was such a massive number? We did not leave ANYONE behind. Nor will SRS leave any of them to starve, we take care of our own. Also, I do NOT rescue ammatars. If they would chose to serve the amarr God they would not have been onboard the Obelisk enroute to minmatar space.

I think what every Amarrian and their sympathizers fail to realize is that this is the largest rescue of slaves period. Nothing has come close to this. The fact that you need to posture here is evidence alone that you're scared. I would be scared too. 72,000 Minmatar freed from the yoke of Amarrian repression, biting at the bit to get into a warship and slaughter your kind. It would make me a little apprehensive as well. Congratulations and good work Camar.

The release of such an insignificant number of slaves is hardly newsworthy. Weekly convoys bring several times as many home to Amarr where the beasts can begin the long slow path to enlightenment. Still I am happy to hear of this "rescue" as I'm certain many of these Minmatar have found God in their hearts. While not saying so to the terrorist abductors I'm certain once home they will slowly begin the practice of worship in private in their cave homes. Slowly they will reveal to their friends and family the true God of Amarr. While some will certainly be discovered and killed by these terrorists others will slowly spread the word of God among the race. You have done a great service to God today Camar by bringing some of his servants to the masses of unenlightend that populate your hopeless Republic. The word of God will spread like a firestorm sweeping the doubts of aimless Matari and bringing them hope as nothing before could. Archbishop VISIT THE PIE HOMEPAGE & FORUMSPIE INFORMATION CENTER

Odds are the Amarr Empire cares even less about these 72000 slaves than the Federation or Republic cared about those ships of theirs I blew up earlier today for invading Caldari space and attempting to steal our technology. ((ok so I took a minor standings hit from the two factions, but that's beside the point. )) Originally by: Istvaan Shogaatsu I'm probably one of the biggest Bush fanboys in Eve... Camar, Rogues commend you and Stormriders for your actions. Excellent plan, and perfect execution by all reports. Do not let the babbling from the amarrs put you down. You've just proven their inability. No raids they've ever performed, has been even remotely close to matching those numbers, nor will they. Halunoto and Malthros, take heed how you make your beds. You will have to sleep in them again.

It is a shame that no Amarr were killed in the extraction of our brothers and sisters. Never the less, excellent news to here. Myself and the other members of the Front give thanks to you and your brothers in arms for saving our fellow citizens.

However it makes me sad that this is done through terrorist acts and as such has my full disapproval. Perhaps these slaves would be better off dead than having rescuers such as the Stormriders. After all, the chance that they too take up these vile acts are significantly higher. Is there no end to these troubles?Lt. Ladel Teravada Deputy Quartermaster Captain, C.N.S. Skyravager and C.N.S. That's very far from what our engagements reports and results show.....However that discussion does not belong here. You call the liberation a terrorist act, but you don't comment on the aqusition of said men and women ? How do you think they ended up as slaves in the first place ?

If you managed to smuggle them out of the Empire yourself under our very noses we have failed. If an independant contractor transported them then there wasn't much we could have done as Concord regulations prevent us from scanning even the transaction logs of known criminals within the Empire. In any case we will increase our efforts to find and disrupt your shipments and return imperial property to it's rightfull owners. Now recruiting!

I piloted the Obelisk myself Tharrn, this task I would never have entrusted to a "neutral" pilot. Nor would I have wanted to endanger any "neutral" considering the route chosen. But indeed it is true, 1st PG is being scouted well in advance due to your...abilities to disrupt our shipments. We made one mistake during this operation and it nearly resulted in giving away our position and objective to 1st PG pilots.
