Some suggestions:
1. Upgrade to a Cyclone, then carefully rip open the package for a shield extender and slowly roll it over the Cyclone to provide added protection when you attempt to ram their Typhoons (mental image required).
2. Switch to Gallente Interon 5 as you hauler of choice, it's shape alone suits you best.
3. Add Barbara Streisand, Village People, and that wacky "I will survive" song to you in-game playlist - oh, and don't forget the show tunes.
4. Get yourself a Gallente f4g hag to be your cheerleader.
Good luck in your war, and remember "toad stools" are not frog fecal matter and cannot be pushed in :)
