Mine arrived perfectly fine, but I must say that rifter is absolutely shameful. It's made of the cheapest thin plastic and almost feels as if it's made of Styrofoam. What happened to the nice quality of the old EVE ship models? The only thing I actually ended up enjoying from this boxset was the sound track CD and the digital codes.... sorry CCP but your rifter frig is a disgrace. |

Iyokus Patrouette : Sorry didn't mean to get you worried ;)
I'm in Australia and as per the original post date i got mine last Thursday/Friday.
I do have to agree the rifter is a little flimsy (OK a lot) it'll be fine for sitting as an ornament . Something in me had just hoped it would be a die cast
In saying all that even if it cant go into the memorabilia collection i am still happy with the CE |

I'm not going to spell that question out because I'm 100% sure you know what I 'm aiming at. Why is it so difficult to answer to that topic and not to this one which made you dig up links on a third party website. Why?
Whoa, you managed to post that directly next to a CCPs post. Thats got to be the closest we've come as yet to contact with CCP on that subject. Post with your main, like a BOSS! |

not a single "fragile" or "handle with care" sticker to be seen :( At times I ship items overseas with big "please handle with care" and "do not bend" stickers on them. Sometimes I think because of those stickers my items arrive bend and not handled with care... I used to have some couriers as customers. You don't want to know what they did with the "fragile" packs. Just to tease you a little: they threw new laptops, brand new built computers and crystal items from the trucks to the floor to save time. And when one of them came to deliver the 5-20 brand new computers a day my company ordered from another reseller, they'd not even stop in the street. A guy in the truck's rear would just kick the new computers down from the truck bay to the ground (more than 1 meter jump) without the truck stopping. This is just to say, DO USE MASSIVE and resilient PACKAGING material and contents, because it will be handled like it was stones anyway.
That would be grounds for an instant kick out of the door around here... That said, the postal service is liable for damages during transport, so that should be obvious.
Where is that happening?

Laurici wrote:In the UK, the Sale of Goods Act and Distance Selling Regulations are fairly comprehensive and consumer-centric. Anybody selling things to the UK an stating "no returns" is flat out breaking the law (unless it is an auction, or specific goods like cosmetics, underwear, earrings or items made to order, which the CE isn't).
this is ture, if you not in the UK you might still be covered by local laws its always best to look into them. depending on what is broken they might just replace that part. |
