Chinese farmers that put up a good fight in an Omen (against my Punisher) and will sit there, staring at you blankly as you hold their pod scrambled and you continue to demand ransom or death in as simpliest terms possible (5,000,000 ISK or pod, 5000000 ISK or die, etc) and get no response.
Of course I'm not going to let the threat go empty or **** away any more time to let him call in the cavalry, I waste him.

Quick hint for the mathematically impaired (i.e. the OP)
If ransom is greater than clone cost then rejection normally follows

the clone cost argument isnt exactly water-tight.
Most people have implants worth far far more than the cost of the ransom. You should all know that

I think your math forgets the astronomical cost of replacing those implants.
