Shortly after targetting a victim in a belt, and ransoming him - he said "why lol?" so i popped him - Shortly after this, he says this in local:

Whats confusing me is the fact that the guys almost a year old in the game, thinks he can wtfpwn me, and wont spend 2 mil isk to save some time getting that ship back, and re-equipping it.
On top, he cant type with any coherance, and is rude to boot. Why must people be that*****y? It wouldnt have been hard to patch a quick two mil and be on his way, or anything, alas... another fatality.

In this case they guy had an over elevated opinion of his fighting ability, hence his refusal to pay the ransom. So that when you killed him he was angry at being shown up so responded with smack.

No, the victim is far worse. You really think mistaking 'your' and 'you're' is as bad as using 'u' for 'you'? Seriously?
The victim was an idiot, but yeah, that's no excuse to post killmails. The chatlog was enough (although the naz-- uh, ISD, will probably delete that too for being 'flamebait'. OMG! Something that may cause an argument on a discussion forum!? TO THE ISDMOBILE!)

He won't though, which is one of the reasons why he's a muppet. I think everyone who has PVP'd any lenght of time has seen this. You kill a guy, and he smacks you for a while telling you how he's going to come and kill you over and over, or have all his friends show up and war dec you.
The sad thing is, it happens so rarely that they actually do show up, one has to assume the person threating this is indeed a muppet. I've has almost this exact situation happen to me perhaps 30-40 times. The funny thing is, not one of then has ever ever come and at least tried to kill me. The funniest one was when I was a [5] pilot, and someone told me he had just spoken to ATUK and they were going to war dec us.

But he didn't "smack for a while." He said he was going to get 'im back. Even if he never does (it's a big damn galaxy, eh?) what's wrong with showing a bit of defiance? He didn't threaten to get a corp/alliance on him, he didn't cry about having his gaming experience ruined or accuse anybody of griefing...he just said he would have his revenge.
There's nothing wrong with that what-so-ever. To complain about such sentiments is really pretty silly.
