Right it's about 22:20BST (British Summer Time)
And for the 3rd time I've been kicked, only this time it's proxy not connected error.
For once I wish CCP would inform us of whats going on.. They keep blaming viruses, but I have afeeling this could be the vengence of a disgruntled customer hitting with DOS attacks..
CCP, please let us have beeter comms between You and us (Your customers), after all it's customer service that counts most..
Any thoughts peeps???

I dont believe anyone who can give us an answer reads these boards, CCP hide behind GMs. Are they going to prove me wrong? I doubt it.

IM sure EQ, DAOC, and AC as well as all the big time software companies have tons of disgruntled people that would like to DOS them too.. I wonder why THEY don't seem to have this problem?
Prolly not a DOS attack this time anyway.. maybe the extension cord that runs the p166 that handles the server came unplugged?

Right, I have to say, I've offered my services for free to CCP many time in regards to the cluster, only want hotel bills paid.. to help them out. I doo want this game ot be a success, because it is the only game that even resembles David Brabens 'Fantastic' 'Elite'
I can also help on the 'Virus'/'DOS' Attack variants...
Why they dont take up is beyond me, willing ot help for pretty much nothing...
Whats you peeps think??

Its shocking. No news from CCP, Polaris have rightly scuttled off to a corner.
Why are we not being told what is going on?
I enjoy the game but I am considering cancelling. If Eve provided my phone service I would have cancelled it by now.

Guys,
Not trying to make this into a 'Flame' thread. I'd like to just get some regular feedback form CCP over teh state of the servers and 'Why' this sort of thing is happening..
If I understand it correctly, most people will stay if they are informed..
Come On CCp, Take me on My offer and let us know at the same time...

the devs do inform us what happens its just no one reads what they post. check out the dev blog on the player website on eve-online.com if you want to find out whats going wrong.

http://myeve.eve-online.com/devblog.asp. you have to sign in with your ingame account tho. or just look at the menu on the left under player website.

The last thing posted there by a Dev is 20 hours old and has nothing to do with the current situation

yes, but if anything happens it ussually is posted there first plus it will answer the queries about the other performance issues early this week. they are proberley to busy fixing it to post i hope 
besides looks like the system is starting up again only 400 seconds to wait
