Ok i had a funny thought, imagine all your isk, ships and modules were removed from the game, and you had no friends to fall back on and you wernt allowed to beg for isk, but you kept your skillpoints. what would be the fastest way to get back on your feet?

Well if you can go from 30k skill points and 0 isk to milions of skill points to millions of isk, it should be easy to do it again but with all yoru skills trained.
Mine/npc with newbie frig to get mining/combat frig. Mine/npc in your frig to get mining/combat cruiser, get an industrial ship. Mine/npc in cruiser to get a barge or battleship. At this point you should be either a miner or a fighter with money in you wallet.

Buy a hauler
Kill indys carrying ore, use said indy to pick it up
probably catch several haulers per day

mine for an hour, sell the minerals, buy a kestrel with t1 parts. hunt a bit in 0.5 to get some isk, and get t2 parts, then go ratting in 0.4sec. cross fingers I get a few good spawns, should be into a cruiser in a day or so, and then the rest is easy.
that or make 2 million, and tune into eve-radio and count on a change of luck in competitions :)

and btw, i'd steal in my ibis till i had enough ISK for a frig (its the only way i can see of making any real ISK in an ibis), then i'd rat belts in 0.5 till i had enough for cruiser (and hope for a commander spawn ofc )
then i'd run rat 0.1-0.4 in the cruiser till i could buy a BC, then i'd run missions
or i'd just go pirating in the frig

welcome to me three months ago. i came back to the game after 2+ years away, loaded up everything into 2 ships, wich promptly got blown up by pirates.
fall off the horse? get back on.
i started running missons in an incursis i bought, and nightly afk mining in the iterion2 i bought with the last of my coin.
three months later im over 200 mill, 15+ ships,in a small corp with newfound friends and well on the road to glory.
its a hard game, you have to make your own way, but it can be done.
-I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.-

I'd go back to Amsen and drop a unit of whatever I could afford in front of the main door. Wait for some newbie miner to pick it up, and gank him in my Ibis.

Two days ago, I lost all of my money and ships (well, I still had an assault frigate, that I never use, just for that purpose). This is the second time for me.
I considered quitting. I know it's possible to get from 0 ISK to having a (small) fortune again, I have done it twice, but this time I had no incentive to start from 0. I took out a loan from someone who was trusting enough, hoping that, if I can't reinburse the ISK, I can probably refine all the crap loot I have here and there to make up for some of the money.
If this doesn't work out for me, I'm out of here. I'll be sad about it though. ---------- Please fix the scan probes!!! (also included a guide to use them) |

I'd wait inside the station, jump some poor captain just as they're getting out of their pod. Steal his ship, and paint on it, "Will strip for Isk." :) After that fails and concord lets me out of jail I'd go attempt to kidnap the damsel, but with her new security setup, and that would fail as well. so, after being released by Concord again. I'd find that retarded informant that must love getting caught or something, smack some sense into him and show him how to lay out a proper ambush, with a battlehship or two and a few support craft, and sit back and destroy all the lvl 1 agent runners that fly in thinking it to be a simple mission. :) ...
But other than that.. ummmmm, stumble upon a player with a fat wallet. :)

OK here is the real thing you can do (because for all the people saying they would use a tech 1 frig to do this or buy and sell stuff, Hanns said no ships and no money so you would find that hard I would imagine)
Start a new character and use the 5000 isk you get as default to get you started back on your road to fortune. ------

run 2 l1 hauling missions, get enough isk to get a slasher/griffin/w/e and start doing a 1/10 or 2/10 complex untill i had bountys to get a decent frigate and fiting
do complexes for 1-2 days and have enough isk to grab a crusier (made 1.5mil in 6h playing from scratch recently)

Honest, quickest, easiest mostest boringest. Your noobie storyline agent. Within 20 easy missions you'll, with selling the +1 implant, have 2M running it in an Ibis and maybe even more.

U have skills still, so it should be a lot easier to get some isk.
My suggestion, depending on your skills, join a corp ASAP.
dunno if it's smart to go into low sec for a while though, atleast not untill u have enough cash to buy a clone (unless the clone was paid for) and remember, the more sp u have the more expensive the clone is.
Hehe, now i think of it, might be something to experiment with if ur bored enough, leave all ur stuff, get a newbfrig, fly 20 jumps to another part of eve and see how long it takes u to once more fly the best ship u can.
