Hi there. I thought I'd get involved with the test server. So, I made a copy of my EVE folder, and went looking for the patches.
I've found them, and I need all of them :)
However, every single one I try to donwload just stops, and hangs there at 99% downloaded. I don't get this anywhere else.
Any clues? I'm confuzzled! :)

I just downloaded the last three patches today and had no problems. Are you using a download manager? Running multiple downloads at once? These sometimes are the reason. Try downloading one at a time with your browser if you are not doing that and see if that makes a difference.
If not then I have no clue.

No download manager, and it doesnt matter if I try one at a time, or three at once. Tis very bizarre.
I'll try a reboot etc...

Strange. I have just redownloaded every patch and had no problems. What kind of connection do you have and what browser are you using?
Mine is an ADSL 512k line, not running through a router and just an average software firewall and the latest Firefox browser.

Just to report rebooting hasn't helped and I've just been able to download various other things (the Eve Trade Analyzer amongst them, lol).

ADSL 1Mbit, no router and Zone Alarm firewall. (BT Broadband, if you are UK based).

In between posts I've jsut been installing a version of NEtscape I had the installer lying around for.
It works!

So it can't have been a location issue as I am on BT Broadband in the UK too. Still, I see you got it working so thats good.
And yes, dump Microsoft it is useless.

I'm having the exact same problem. The download stops at 99%.
