Um, looks like hes been flying a vaga for 3 months now, not intys.
And threads like this are lame, they should all be instalocked along with the "whos the best pvper, whats the best corp" etc ****. Note that everyone in this thread has said friends/people from their corp.

Lets all be a bit honnest. Everybody hates our ceptors.
And from what I've seen and experianced, music was good. I agree whit zarth there. But I still think it's a tie between Koth and bud/zinc.
Koth becus he's just so damn fast at locking those damn pods down. And Bud for 1vs1's skill level, and zinc for situation awareness and picking the right targets to lock down.
From my eksperiance that is true for me. But then again. I might be wrong. ;)

I was merrily kicking the crap out of Ballistic Void's Claw in my little Crow one day. I had him into low armour, with me on about 60% shields when he got one hit which took me directly from shield into structure. Luckily, he had no scramble so I could warp off.
He still keeps that damned hit in his bio....
The original KIAGumpy was probably the best ceptor pilot I've ever seen.

I had a Crow that I'd gotten more than 60 kills in when Ballistic Void popped me in that damn Claw of his. I came back in a Raptor (twin T2 150's) and nearly returned the favor but he got out. Both fights were minutes long and a hell of a lot of fun.
In the MC, we have Sivona who has done more in a Raptor than almost any other ship. If they'd just give that ship a third turret hard point, I don't think he'd ever fly anything else.
I've never fought Zincol, but I've seen him in action and he's a terror in his Crow.

Theres a difference between being a 1on1 ceptor pilot and being a good ceptor pilot. Ceptors should be used to tackle prey for other people, not shoot each other, and you need different setups to do either.
Personally, a good ceptor pilot is someone that can tackle and hold a target til his mates show up without dieing. That means more to a gang leader than being able to 1v1 another interceptor
Of course thats just my opinion

I remember Gunstar Zero being awesome as well and also Shintoko Akahoshi (sp?)
I was pretty ebil in my taranis once... but something about flimsy ceptors and the inevitable podkilling losing implants made me lose interest and get rusty

Can`t agree. For example i can tackle, and sometimes i can tackle very well. But when i`m flying with real pro intie pilots - i have feeling, that i`m newb (not far from truth, btw). They feel theyr ship, not just flying.
My choice - KoLLIKA (this name means cat, in russian ) from my corp. If i order him to tackle target, and it warps away - then this target couldn`t be tackled at all. Period.

Can`t agree. For example i can tackle, and sometimes i can tackle very well. But when i`m flying with real pro intie pilots - i have feeling, that i`m newb (not far from truth, btw). They feel theyr ship, not just flying.
Yes. I meant if u are good killing in it you for sure should be a good tackler as well. Not the other way around

Anyone who can use the scanner well
Oh and people need to learn eve isnt about 1v1's its a group orientated game and those ceptors pilots who can work in a group and dont just go about solo ganking other ceptors are far better :)

Best inty pilot I ever witnessed was Mockingbird ( now sadly deleted - some of the Supremecy guys might remeber him) Lopez is also excellent in a crow, the other guy I will mention is ifni who was always very good in a crusader.
There are a few others worth mentioning too, Christopher Multisanti, Farscape,Comitatas and H Zub all know what they are doing

There are many good IC pilots im not gonna compare who is best but heres who i respect most:
DrunkenOne: allways looking for fair fight and allways looking for not so fair fights too, Quitted coz of CCP maked stabs worth it.
Noobjuice: hes damn smart when one speaks about tactics, he definately know what he does. Helped me a lot when i was in ATUK, helps me now when im back home.

Overall.
In my eyes mostly tackling cause they are ment for that. And with tackling i mean that the target dies and the pilot lives.

Escador and Kivers of E-R are very, very good. Altai Saker I know is an excellent pilot having fought him once and getting thoroughly schooled. Apache and Angelus X are very also pilots I've heard good things about. But they both fly crows so that lessens the skill factor I think. :)

1v1 interceptors is not what interceptors are about. Jumping into a system, finding a ship in a belt before it realises you are there, finding the optimun angle to approach an enemy fleet so they dont snipe you, but it doesn't take you 4 weeks to get to them. How long your interceptor lives.
The longest interceptor i have flown without switching ship is probably about 1 week max. I dont even wanna know how many i have lost in total
and oh yeh escador is teh nub.

My choice - KoLLIKA (this name means cat, in russian ) from my corp. If i order him to tackle target, and it warps away - then this target couldn`t be tackled at all. Period.

Serious question: How can someone be the "best" crow pilot? Are they the best at being able to click the "orbit at x" button? I mean seriously, flying a crow takes so little skill its a joke.
